Relaxing game, I like that you can set your own difficulty by challenging yourself to make bigger loops

What's the highscore btw? I got 120, but trying to see where I can improve

Developer

Thanks for playing! I think the highest possible score is 206, but TBH I'm not really sure and maybe it's higher! (it's just the highest score I've been able to get). There are definitely some levels that could have had more interesting challenges, but so it goes...

I was definitely inspired by the GMTK "super mario's invisible difficulty settings" video to try to make varied levels of challenge that players can select for themselves:

Really fun interpretation of the theme. I had no idea there were so many ways to mix and mash loops into and around one another. Really really enjoyed this one. Great job! I want to play more.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Glad to hear you enjoyed it. Based on the feedback, I'll definitely have to make a full version after the jam with more levels & stuff!

I was like "this is easy!" ...umm... why do I have zero points? Great game! :)

Developer

Thanks for playing! My hope was to have different user-selected difficulties based on whether people want to just finish the levels, or get a bunch of points, and it seems to have worked out!

nicccce! i love spacial reasoning puzzles like this hehe. very aesthetically pleasing too

Developer

Thank you!! I feel like there is so much potential in the spatial reasoning direction—tetris like stuff etc. Originally I wanted to make it a 3D grid but fortunately I ran out of time so people don't have to deal with that XD

Nice game. I like the challange of use loops as big as you can to do a high score

Developer

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it!

A very good game especially the unique gameplay when they rely on looping shapes to solve puzzles is very interesting, I really like this game. I also made a jam game this time called Loop Track, if you have time to try I will be very grateful!!!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yay for unique puzzle games!

Simple but interesting puzzle game. I like how you've used the loop thematic.

Developer

Thank you! It was a fun theme.

A simple, but fun and relaxing series of puzzles.

Good work. :)

Thanks for playing!

You're welcome. :)

This was pretty cool! I like the concept and the minimalistic art style - it really fits the game. Perhaps there could be a score target to beat for each puzzle so that you don't end with the slim rectangles everywhere?

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing, and for the kind words! Good idea—I'm thinking for the future to maybe make it 1 star = any solution, 2 stars = decent area-enclosing solution, and 3 stars = optimal solution. With some larger & better designed levels.

Another loop drawing game ! Yours is much clearer in intent and style, though. :-)

I liked it, but once I figured out that I can just mostly color in the area with two-wide rectangles, the challenge did disappear for me. Maybe there should be a limit on the number of loops you can draw ?

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yay loop drawing games!

I definitely should have spent more time on puzzle design... my hope was that there would be some more straightforward solutions with 2-wide rectangles, but then a deeper challenge to find the optimal placement for maximizing area-enclosing loops for score.

Maybe I'll revisit it to improve the scoring!

The game looks amazing, and the puzzles are super fun! I like the creative concept of layering loops and scoring empty space!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Glad it's fun!

Nice! I like how it is pretty easy to just do small loops, but to get points you need to make the bigger ones.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Glad the concept worked out in practice!

good use of the loop theme, had me going for a good bit with the puzzle aspect of it thinking it was gonna be a breeze but it actually requires some smarts 8-)

Developer

Thanks for playing! Glad it seems to have been balanced OK!

I'm not very good at it, but it looks great and I enjoyed it a lot!

Developer

Thanks for playing!!

This one is on creative side. Defenetly on of the best puzzle i've seen here

Developer

Thanks for playing! That is very kind of you!!

Enjoy how snappy placing loops is! Finished with 120 points, could not figure out how to get a single point on L4 or L6 though lol

Developer

Glad to hear it! Thanks for playing! Yeah I think there's no way to get points on those levels... :-( will need to make a v2 with properly good levels haha

Nice puzzle game i had fun

Developer

Thanks for playing!

Nice game! I love the simple graphics and music. Perfect for a puzzle game.

I feel like the options to get points were very limited in most levels. It kind of forces you do to a lot of X by 2 loops which gives no points, maybe I'm just not smart enough.

Anyway, great job with this!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing!

Yeah, some of the level designs could have been a bit better... I put them together at the last minute and wish I spent just a bit more time on them. Actually I forgot how to solve a few and in the interest of making the game possible I quickly changed their designs, but in the process forgot to check that it was possible to score points!

In any case, I think the max possible score is 206 pts but maybe it's more then that. I know for two levels it isn't possible to get points but for the others it is.

I liked this, the idea felt very reminiscent of a Zachtronics game where there’s a straightfoward solution but you can work harder to optimize for score. The click add/remove lops felt intuitive as an interaction, and you got a nice challenge out of some simple rules!

My final score was 160 though I think I could maybe crank it higher…

Developer(+1)

Woah, Zachtronics-like is high praise!! Thank you! And glad it was intuitive, I flew way too close to the sun with the deadline & testing... I think the highest possible is 206 but tbh I'm not really sure!

A nice idea with a really clean style!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! Enjoyed the style of your game too!
