I do love Balatro so naturally I ended up getting sucked into this haha. Would've loved if it could be even harder, with all sorts of weird dice.

The visuals were simple, but very well done and elegant.

Developer(+1)

Dont worry, the weird dice are comming in the full game!

Dice mechanic! nice one to that how it combines with theme pretty well.

If possible, can you please vote my game and leave a comment too?

I’m the man who plays with three dice! Two in my hand… and one up my sleeve.

Submitted(+1)

i didn’t expect it to be so addictive, sick one!

Developer

Hey back at ya, cant seem to stop playing yours lol

Yahtzee meets Balatro. Self aware-ly addictive gameplay loop with super satisfying visuals. Highly recommended!

didnt realise i was gambling

would recomend!

Addictive. Great. Polished.

Suggestion: The game lacks only one thing. Crazy abilities, like the jokers in balatro. You could add something like the "Boons of Dice Gods" and maybe..

Wait.

We get a full on Hades and Balatro mixture!

I want it! I want it! I want it!

Consider working on it if you get the chance!

Developer

Haha, thanks for the feedback and ideas! This was a prototype for a a game I eventually want to release on steam, so the crazy abilities are in the works!

Balatro-n't. Really fun and addicting, even though I haven't played balatro in months this made it feel like it was just yesterday, really love the detail put into the dice, hovering over them causing them to expand, them shaking when you click and hold. The background with the wavy...uhh...waves is really pretty! (and nice touch that it moves with your progress). And the text that appears when you start a round is a nice detail, just a solid game all around! Good work!

Very nice rolling animation for the dice. Fun and snappy gameplay.

It was fun for one round, to play more I would have needed more synergy between the powers. It didn't feel like I could build toward certain combos. One thing that is always fun in games like this is when you get to bend the rules, an upgrade that didn't cost lives if you played singles for example (had to be capped to not be broken, but you get the idea)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! I agree about the need for more powers and ways to make intersting builds throughout a run. This was more of a prototype focusing on getting that core gameplay feeling as good as possible, the full release will have a more fleshed out progression system. I really like your idea of bending the rules, adding that to the list!

Really amazing unique concept. Get this added to casinos my friend and also do a full release. Loved the idea of picking dices and rolling to try and get a better poker hand. Just a small tutorial on how lives and rolls are different from another would have been helpful but anyways I figured it out.

Keep it up

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback on the tutorial! A full release on Steam is in the works!

Since I loved Balatro, I knew I was going to have a good time, nice game!

Surprisingly polished, very fun!

Great game, and quite fun to play. The artwork and the gameplay really work together. Well done on your submission :)

Yahtzee! as an avid game-bler, I will playing this for a few more hours thanks. Im surprised there's no distinc tho. Also if you like cat and dice you'll like this too

the inspiration from balatro is clearly noticeable, but despite that i'd say this is a very enjoyable entry, I could actually see myself playing this from time to time. I was wondering, is there an actual ending to the game, or does it keep scaling?

Developer(+1)

For this version it just keeps scaling, I thought it fit the theme of a loop and my intended theme of the cycle of gambling addiction better that way. I do have plans for an ending in the full game, but it will also include an endless mode.

I'll be glad to check out the full release

If you like Balatro, you'll enjoy this game. Clean style. As with any roguelites, having more crazy modifiers to make things fun would be a good win.

Developer

Thanks for the kind words! and dont worry, the crazy modifiers are in the works.

Lets go for Full House now!! ahahah

Balatro got its claws in me deep and this game would be no different -- nice game with a fun gameplay loop and interesting decisions to make along the way. It also looks, sounds and feels relaxing to play.

Very satisfying dopamine simulator! The sounds and visuals were on point.  It felt a little tough getting started, due to the luck involved, but the upgrades between rounds really helped.

Great entry!
