A very complete and nice game. I am a sucker for digging games, reminds me of Steamworld Dig which is a game series a like a lot.

If the backpack and time mechanics held more strategic weight the game would be elevated to a whole new level. It is rare that I care about a loop ending and the backpack filling up just forces me to empty it. I would have also liked a tune that was a little bit longer, it gets very repeptitive after a while.

I really enjoy the goal of building upward in a game about digging, that is a fresh take on the dig concept. I also think the game nails the theme very well.

This was really cool. Did the difficulty increase as I did perfect loops?

One thing I would say is that it would be nice with a song with a stronger beat to get into the rythm a little easier.

I got a Platinum performance!  :)

Very good player feedback, it was very clear when I managed to encircle a group and when I failed.

I want a little bit more leeway with the timing so that I could more easily set up combos with different sheep colors in the same loop.

Very creative and I love that you did the soundtrack in different styles for the different characters.

The gameplay was very hard, I didn't figure out how to win and the wizard seems very strong compared to the other characters since he can attack from so far away.

Your feedback about the game having purpose is spot on. Bringing that with us for the next jam!

I really enjoyed this one and the story made me chuckle! Really innovative take on the loop theme as well.

Thats a fun way to look at it! Thanks for playing and commenting!

Very cool idea but I couldn't progress because the game was so difficult :D
Super cute graphics as well. Good job!

This was very good. I liked how the story was presented and I got really hooked by the midpoint and really wanted to see the end.

I would cut some of the repetition from the game, I know it's part of the narrative but it wasn't fun as a gameplay mechanic. I would find some other way to show that every day was the same without having to click through the same dialogue over and over.

Top notch narrative and artwork. Good job!

I think the concept here is amazing! I like how you upgrade your dwarves as you mine more gems. What the game really lacked for me to truly put it through the roof was some sort of goal. If every type of dwarf had something they needed to do within one loop (like getting all the gem colors) that would be very nice.

Also really missed some sound and music, but the dwarves were cute, especially the mining animation. Deserves more ratings for sure!

Good game, would love to see it improved!

I think this was really good! The concept feels fresh and fun. I just want it expanded more. To get a bonus for filling your backpack perfectly for example or certain enemies giving you bonuses for fighting while they are in your bag. There is a lot of potential in this game and would love to see it developed!

Deserves way more ratings than it has!

Very cool concept of being able to save your tricks and replay them, would like to see that expanded even more.

The music and art was great. I also liked that you went for a story based game. Very ambitious!

I would have liked the levels to be a bit shorter to make the story and the interesting sacrificing of skill system to take a bigger part of the game.

Good job!

So glad you enjoyed it!

Bopping soundtrack, entrancing gameplay and quirky world building. I didn't think I would shoo away bears by shooting acorns during this jam.
Found an exploit, if you hit down as you turn you stop on the spot making any turn very easy. Overall I would have enjoyed if the game leaned more into the survival parts, it felt like there was a clash between that and the racing bits and they never really complemented each other.
Great game!

Such a cool art style! Love it!

Good game. I liked that the goal was to escape the loop. Nice graphics and player feedback from hitting the asteroids. I really would have needed some more hints in game that there was more to it than hitting asteroids though, without the comment section I wouldn't have figured it out.

Very cute game, I like the graphics and the theme. It was very tough to complete the levels. Would have loved it if I could extend the web by holding shift instead of tapping it.

One of the better clickers I have played. I think I did everything in the game (took me 32 min).

A few points:

- I would have liked a shorter transition time between dimension, there was a lot of hopping between them and that would feel better if it was snappier.

- A clerarer indication if a category is maxed out, I didn't know if I had gotten everything or not when I stopped playing.

- At the end it felt like I was just clicking all the power and core upgrades as fast as I coud. It fitting with the theme though, how the gameplay of frantic clicking from the early stages came back in the end, but strategy kinda went out the window :D

Overall such a slick game, very easy to get into and it had a great feeling of progression.

I liked the game, cool take on the "forming a loop" concept. I felt a little bit overwhelmed by all the trucks. Would have loved to start slow with just one truck and then increasing the amount as the game went on.

Good game but I fell all the way down XD. Not really my type of game but good job, very solid!

A really cool game. I really like the idea. Quite the stressful experience but very rewarding when I got it right. Challenging in a good way!

Very nice game. A small animation when picking up the fairies and some sound would elevate it even more.

It's a good feeling when you want to play more after the game is over!

I agree, a bit of story to ground the experience would be great. Noted for the next jam!

This is getting full marks for creativity! Loved that the level changed on death and this can be expanded way more.

The perspective tripped me up a lot, and pitfalls behind platforms weren't obvious.

Really cool gem of a game, should have way more ratings!

Sweet racing game, good controls, good music and nice art.

The loops were very tricky and often made me drive of the track :D

Easy to understand and play. Clear graphics and player feedback.

The modifiers brought the game to life, the memorization got a bit stale after a few rounds.

Very nice graphics and sound! It had a nice pace to getting the upgrades as well. Overall a very good experience, one of the better games I played this jam!

A few notes:

- Rare instruments could have been even rarer
- It would be nice to be able to remove instruments from the track
- Loved that the enemies were the same instruments that the player used

Very nice rolling animation for the dice. Fun and snappy gameplay.

It was fun for one round, to play more I would have needed more synergy between the powers. It didn't feel like I could build toward certain combos. One thing that is always fun in games like this is when you get to bend the rules, an upgrade that didn't cost lives if you played singles for example (had to be capped to not be broken, but you get the idea)

Thanks for taking the time to play and comment! We were going for a pretty laid back style, glad you liked it!

I didn't really understand what happened at the different spots around the loop. Got really intrigued and wanted to play more but couldn't figure out the goal of the game. Nice graphics and sound!

One of the better avoid your past self platformers I have tried this jam.

I would have liked it if I could continue from the life I am on instead of having to restart the whole level on death

Cool little game! I would have loved if the shouting minigame had all the things you wanted to sell sequenced so you didn't have to hit a button between each one. Would make the game flow much better I think.

Really fun concept. I liked setting up my own weapons, that felt like the core of the game. The long wait time for the first loop made the start very slow though and I would have wanted to get going a bit faster since the modification of the loop was where I found the fun.

Really fun game. Took me a while to understand that I could move around. Which made me think that the game could maybe be even more strategic if you had to be stationary. Great take on the Survivors genre!

I couldn't progress in the game since the attack button seemed to do nothing.

One of my favourites from the jam. Great puzzle mechanics, sweet graphics and sound. Love the theming.
A few points of feedback:

- Mixing light makes sense from a thematic standpoint but normal color mixing would make for more intuitive gameplay

- A rewind button would be great for the more complex puzzles

- The infinite energy voice line both cracks me up and make me feel great every time I complete a puzzle

I hope this one goes far in the rankings!

Very cute and fun puzzle game. I got stuck when trying to find the special candle and the husband so I couldn't finish the game. Great job overall, I really liked the looping train and would have loved even more puzzles involving it (maybe there is more that I didn't get to since I couldn't complete the game...)

(1 edit)

Very cute little game. After getting the hang of it, it was fun to try and get better and better time. My best is 15 seconds. :)

edit: I had to return and get a better score: 13.78s is my best now!

Thank you for taking the time to retry the game after the initial rage quit. Your feedback is very helpful!
