How does your game fit the theme?
The board the game is played on is a loop that you run around to score points. It's also a rougelike so all the gameplay is just one big loop.

awesome take on the loop theme. very creative, had a blast playing it! great stuff!

Super fun, I love the idea of building the board as you go. balancing the need for better abilities and making the board too long to loop. 10/10 very good game.

Great visuals and music! I thought it was just gonna be Monopoly at first, but the twist took it to another level. Super addictive and really well done!! 👏🤑

Very good idea, I enjoyed a lot all the possibility you add to a classical board game. It change completely the taste and it's very fun to discover.

Maybe it's just me but the text describing the effects was a bit small compare to the other, it was a bit hard to read.

The atmosphere (sound/visuals) fit well to the idea of an old game find in the cellar witch is great !

I had so much fun with this one, I love seeing other people also made Balatro-inspired games. All the tiles and token upgrades are really fun, if I had one suggestion it would be to make the token re-triggering more obvious because at times I couldn't tell if it was doing anything. Overall great submission I can't believe this doesn't have more ratings!

Good idea will do! Thank you for the feedback :))

I really had fun with this game, 5 stars on that!

Mechanics are great, I just could not see the point on throwing less than three dices. Higher dice values always means more money, or am I missing something?

Developer(+1)

Glad you liked it! Sometimes you want a specific item or tile on a street so you want to throw fewer dice to specifically land on that street, but in most other cases yes it is better to throw all 3! In the update there will be a lock shop mechanic that I think will encourage more precise landings even more.

Comes full circle, beautifully.

I was playing the game while reading through the comments and managed to soft lock me with the remove last tile in street while reading about the bug. Was in round 10/10 in hard mode xD

Small things I noticed: I think I would prefer if you can place tiles in certain fixed slots on the board. It feels a bit wonky that they slide around if you delete/build tiles. I would love to have a counter somewhere on how many tiles I still have to go while moving. While this doesn't change the outcome at all I think this would add a lot to the game feeling overall.

But so far this is the game I spent the most time on (by faaaar) because the mechanics are super addictive, so great job and nice execution ^^

Developer

Thank you so much for the feedback! Working on fixing that bug right now haha!
The counter thing is something I wanted to implement but wasn't sure how to fit it nicely in the UI since I wanted it world based, but will def look into it more now that I have more time! Really glad you liked the game :)

very cool mix of monopoly and Balatro! Great entry overall!

Nice take on Monopoly! I really enjoyed playing the game. Art and Audio is good and the controls easy to understand when doing the tutorial. I am not sure when it is useful to not throw all three of the dice. And also I got a bug when I had my last throw. The game claimed I lost even though one of my dice was rerolling still.

Over all great entry! (:

Developer

Thanks a ton! Thought I had fixed that bug, will look into! And usually you want to throw less if you want to put items or tiles on a specific street, but it is a greedy ;) strat.

I never thought I would see Monopoly rogue-like and omg I love it! I wish there was so more polish and maybe added mechanics to it but for a game jam game it does an incredible job! I think I found a bug, if you erase the tile you're standing on(which is the only tile you can select with the eraser item), it leaves you with no tile to stand on and then the dice won't roll anymore, not sure why. Even with the bug I enjoyed this game greatly and would definitely come back to it if you expand upon it after the jam. Incredible work!

Developer(+1)

Thand you so much for the feedback! Will definately try to expand a bit upon it after the jam, who knows maybe even go for a full release :)

Can't wait!

Incredible! I loved every second of it. Love how much you can strategize, despite the randomness it feels really fair. I managed to beat it at hard mode, kind of wish there was an endless mode.

Developer

Thank you!! Endless was on my scope creep list of things to do which I didn't get to during the jam, will absolutely add after

Awesome game with a clever concept. I really enjoyed it and was super proud of wining until I realized it was tutorial difficulty. Great game, congrats!

Submitted(+1)

Really fantastic. There's loads of potential to build on this to make it even better and replayable.

Submitted

We had the same idea! I haven't tried the game yet. I'll do it as soon as I find time

Cool concept and good execution! Had fun playing on stream.

Submitted

i love this game it has great charm and its so fun to think of ways to make a bunch of points

Submitted

i did find a glitch where if you erase the tile and it was the last one in the row you get soft looked and you have to quit the game cus even if you start a new game it still is stuck other then that tho its great

Submitted

i also found that you can use an item  wall moving if you drag it befor you start to move then drop it on a spot you walk by i wold love to see this game updated so i can play it more

Developer(+1)

Thanks a bunch for the feedback! Will get right to fixing those bugs and posting an update once the feedback period has ended! I'm super glad you enjoyed it :))

I love the fact that the card selection box looks like an actual physical board game box! Really well done and nice interpretation of the theme

Cant go wrong with a smooth sax

plays nicely,  a display of what a card is currently worth would have been nice
