I liked the mechanic, good job!

Agree with the comment below, the y-axis height altering character scale is a super interesting mechanic, tied it together for an interesting platforming game. Really had to judge how much distance I had to put behind a jump where I'd rise or fall! Sweet artstyle and main character too:
Is it far away, or is it small, little big bunny?

Developer

Thank you so much!! This art is lovely omg

Using the Y-axis is way more interesting that a button to scale up/down, that's nice! Lovely artstyle.

I really love the smooth mechanic of mid air control in this game. The scaling theme of zoom in and out is pretty cool too. There are many ways to complete a platform and I love to play around with the jump mechanic. Jumping and controlling bunny in mid-air feels so rewarding and exciting. Managed to go through interesting platforming. Great job on this one! :)

good platformer ! loved the art, sound & theme implementation (although the scalling could have been better explained)

LOVED IT

Very cute design and fun mechanic that gives the gameplay a pretty unique feel! But similar to someone who also left a comment here, I unfortunately couldn't make the second big jump after the 2nd checkpoint :( Even the highest jump that the bunny could manage wasn't enough to cross the distance. Also, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't make the jump through the gap of a big vertical pillar right before the 2nd checkpoint. Possibly my skill issue though lol

Developer(+1)

Thank you! That gap is basically there to trick you/show you the scaling mechanic; you aren't actually meant to go through it! If you're having trouble with the jumps at the 2nd checkpoint, try standing closer to the edges or holding the forward key!

Update reply: we've realized there might be a bit of a bug, so if you're still struggling it might be something we have to fix!

Why is the artwork so cute? And I wanna know how you made those tiled text on the background, it looks so stylish, I wanna apply it in my next project lol. Also, if you plan on continuing the game, I want bunny superpower (reverse physics -> just something that pops up whilst playing)

Interesting idea, very similar to my game. I think with a little polsihing this could be really cool, the movement felt a little floaty, but the character was super cute.

Nice work! The character animations were super cute and scaling their size to their y position was an interesting spin.

super cute character design, also i found the bg to be pretty funny ₍⑅ᐢ..ᐢ₎

What a happy little/big bunny!

I found it hilarious that the game's description and credits are just panning around in the background. I wish the ground had a bit more texture to it so I could get a better sense of my size and the distance that I am traveling. I enjoyed being able to jump across huge distances when I am big, sometimes skipping platforms.

Wonderful art, and great mechanic that delivers on the theme of the jam! I found it impossible to get past the second checkpoint, not sure if there's a double jump or a sprint or something that I didn't account for, but enjoyed what I played of it.

Developer

Thank you! It's possible! There's no double jump or sprint, but you can jump higher if you hold the spacebar longer. You can also move while falling!

The platforming feels good and the gimmick is well utilized. I'd love to see this game expanded upon. I also really like the cutesy aesthetic. Great job!

This game is ADORABLE omg, the music is whismy, the art is so pretty (seriously great work on that front!!), and the premise and design makes for a super fun experience. I want to know where this bunny goes next frfr. I also found that the background was a nice touch, it helped make the grid a bit better to see and less disorientingg

Super cool and cute game. The scaling effect looks super cool and I love the kind of abstract graphics

Submitted(+1)

Thanks for the in game clock. 3:12 on the first run. Let's do another one to see how much I can lower it.
Really, really nice game and cute character

in most games you move faster when you jump.
Especially true in games where the higher you go the bigger you grow, and scaling your momentum too :P

Developer

I put a speed run timer in the top corner. Gold star if you can make it in under 2 minutes!

Cute game! I loved the art!

Bunny cute!

So good to see an idea similar to mine! but instead of changing the size of single platforms you changed the size of the hole map! Pretty trippy and actually fun! (theres some gaps I couldnt jump over tho)
