How does your game fit the theme?
Anubis builds a robot to later use in a scale to weigh against hearts. The robot has the functionality to scale its size based on sins being committed.

Great interpretation of the theme with the scales of Anubis, and I really love the world building in the intro scene (though, you’re pulling a Skyrim making it unskippable!).
The art is cute, but I had a hard time figuring out what was interactable, and what the interactables were (I thought the coin was an eye at first), maybe add some text like “picked up coin”. And I get the need for some time pressure, but my suggestion, especially for a tricky game like this, is to make the timer toggleable, so its easy to explore the world fully, then do a speed run once you know the route.
Overall I liked it quite a lot and wish I could explore it more fully!
Thanks for the feedback! I take responsibility for overcomplicated the puzzles especially with the time pressure. Should've thought things through lmao. We debated on adding a "Practice Mode" which allows you to play the game without the timer but ended up not having time for the main menu. Also sorry for the unskippable intro!
The music and feel of the game made me slightly nostalgic for NES/SNES games (an updated remastered looking version of course). Thanks for your submission!
The art direction is very polished! The visual and sound design are solid. Love the minimalist yet colorful approach to the pixel art style. Also the little dialogue thrown here and there is nice for a game jam in this short time frame. Good job for this one! :)
Wow I love this style and energy of this game. Super strong submission. Love the the visuals, sound, and even the feel of gameplay. Very polished! Music is def a bop. Will say, I got pretty lost throughout the game. I think I even soft-locked myself a couple of times but was not sure what to do after delivering the book to the grandma. Time would run out and then I'd be unable to go back to the library and some of the things I did would have been undone. Get the sins part reduces and increases scale but I got confused on like how I would know what thing would be a good or bad deed until I actually did it. Kind of wished for a heads-up on what I was doing for doing them. Either way, game is still good stuff!
Thanks for the feedback! And yeah, turns out the game is bugged on restart so sorry about that. In future game jams we'll try to spare a lot more time for playtesting instead of adding content.
Really interesting take on the theme!
A fellow ancient Egypt enjoyer 😎 this is super polished, super cute, and a real creative take on the theme! Loved the cutscene, "Live Osiris Reaction" cracked me up.
I thought it was really cool that you took the time to create some small cutscenes to tell a story at the beginning of the game. The music was great too!
The art style is really cute, I love it!
The concept is interesting and I love these little characters, each with their own problem :) I would probably wish to explore this world without a timer just to think more about the things that happen or without extra rush. I also got stuck once, but probably I didn't understand what I had to do. It looked like as if I was to buy a ticket but I've already spent the coin. Nevertheless, it was fun to play!
i love the style!
Really creative concept for a game! I loved the music as well. Great entry :)
The music as well as the entire game has a strong Undertale vibe. So amazing
It wasn't exactly intended but thank you! (Though Undertale is a great game)
The music, art style and polish are amazing!
Thank you!
Interesting concept! I wish there was a way to reset without having to go back and listen to the intro, however to encourage further experimenting. Otherwise, I love the gameplay (and zooming at 3kg) and it's a really nice, simple pixel style! Great work!
Thank you for playing! And I agree with you. If we had more time, adding a reset key would definitely be on the top of the list.
