I have a Dell G15, with an RTX 3050, but for some reason I experienced out-of-this-world levels of lag. My guess is that maybe its an Edge problem (I do not use Chrome).
I looked for a Windows version (because usually runs smoother) but couldn’t find. So I played with around 5 fps cause this game made me curious and I realised the problem lies on the size of the map, because when I look towards the beach it runs much better, so perhaps its lack of optimization when rendering the visible and not visible world.
The game is pretty sweet, looks cool, and overall is one of the most creative entries of this jam, also touches on a sensitive topic which is pollution of seas, I really like the music too, this is a great game overall, congrats!
It definitely could be Edge, we only really had time to do much testing on safari and chrome. Thanks for calling that out, something to look into after the jam! I’m sure we’ll do a downloadable version then too!
Thanks for checking it out regardless of low frame rates!
Very fun beach cleanup game! I love the feeling of scaling up the school of fish, though I expected that it would happen more gradually. I thought cleaning up the trash and watching it disappear was very satisfying, but the mechanics of pushing were very challenging and could use some tuning. Overall a good experience and a very complete game. Nice work on this!
Thank you very much for giving it a play!
your game could have corresponded to two themes, that of scale and that of pollution. It's a really cool concept to see your sardine (and other fish that help it) evolve in the ocean and clean it :), the graphics are nice, the menu needs a little tweaking, the music is relaxing, great job!
Thanks a lot, glad you had fun with it!
Beautiful game, and even more so once the water is clean :-) took me a little while, but me and my hammerhead crew did eventually get the green shipping container into one of the nets on the boats. I'm a big fan of all the little easter eggs around the map, they really make it fun to explore, and I got lost twice in the kelp forests! I also have to say I love the wiggle of the great whites
Well done for beating the game! And thanks for the lovely comment!
Lovely atmosphere in this game, and a really good theme too! Nice work!
Thanks so much!
It's a relaxing and cute game. The group of fish trying to clean the ocean is very wholesome.
Once the group gets bigger it's a bit hard to control, maybe if there is an option to release some of the fish, it might help.
The map is bigger than I thought ngl.
Amazing one!
Thanks so much for checking it out! Releasing fish was a feature that got cut for time sadly - maybe in the post jam release!
i'm so impressed you managed to make abzu / subnautica a like in 96 hours. The webgl lags a bit on my pc but it was amazing to play !
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it!
Very interesting :D I definitely felt like a little sardine trying to do the best I can against such a huge mess :) The game was for sure laggy and difficult to control with the mouse but the idea came across well regardless, great job!
Thanks a lot! Hopefully we'll do a proper second version someday soon!
Fun concept, loved getting bigger and bigger groups of fish, but started to become a bit laggier every time, close to unplayable when I got to the second pack of sharks.
Other than the performance issues, super cool game though! Felt very zen swimming around pushing trash. Fantastic effort for a 96 hour gamejam!
Thanks for giving it a play! Glad you liked the idea
I was going to rate this, but it was really laggy and that made it unplayable sadly (looking at the shore makes it run alot better but theres barely anything there to collect), and it wouldnt be fair to vote without experiencing the game properly. Tried a couple more browsers I have, and none really fixed it
The screenshots look pretty good though and the game seems very relaxing, the ones who can play have found themselves a treat! I would appericiate a downloadable build when the jam ends though, that will probably run better
We’ll definitely put out a downloadable version when the Jam is over! Thanks for checking it out
I keep coming back to this game, it's really good. Relaxing and fun to explore the world, and the behaviour of the fish creates some beautiful patterns too, very impressive for 96 hours!
That's exactly the feeling we were hoping to give! Thanks so much for playing
Similar experience to Jugan0. Thought it was just an issue on my device alone.
Would've liked to try the game since it sounds interesting
The game ran extremely poorly on my device, so I sadly couldn't play. However the visuals look really good! (Not rated as I couldn't load the game).
A very relaxing experience! Very well done :3
Many thanks!
Very pretty! I got lost amassing a big gang of fish and didn't clean up anything haha. It was a bit laggy but I had a good time. Nice use of the theme, I really enjoyed the Katamari-like build-up of scale and then being able to zoom back to the OG little guy.
Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed the game
Of course, it takes time to load, did you see the level of detail in the graphics?
Patience is key, and in this case, it was definitely worth it.
Really well done!
Thanks a lot! Glad you liked it!
Loved this one, really cozy! Lags a lot though, even after a couple of minutes of playing
Thanks for checking it out!
It's pretty laggy, but nonetheless I am very impressed
Thank you!
Im surprised this runs so well in browser after the initial loadup! I didn't seem to find a way to consistently remove trash aside ramming into it and hoping it would move, but I enjoyed swimming around collecting a posse of an obsurd amount of fish!
Thanks a lot! We put a lot of time into optimisation so glad it's working out. Swimming around and exploring is much more important than the rubbish anyway - but if you want to swim around with cleaner water, the tires are a lot easier to push from inside and cleanup the water a lot faster (sneaky top tip)
It loaded but start button doesn't work
Did you try leaving it a moment? It's missing a loading bar when you hit the start button. Something is happening, it just takes a sec!
