Such a wonderful game! The concept of trading sizes between objects is very unique, and genuinely puzzling! There's also a lot of variety in the gameplay elements, and they complement the size mechanic very well. I verbally let out a "No way" when figuring out that you can resize yourself!! The visuals and music fit so well with the setting of the game as well. It's so charming! Awesome stuff!

Cool graphics & clever use of the mechanics in the different puzzles !
Very interesting game with a unique concept. Changing the size of object is something I have seen in several other Jam games, but transferring size between objects is not. The puzzles were very well designed, and I only really got a bit stuck on one near the end. The game looks and sounds amazing, and getting the collectables throughout the levels was fun. There were a couple of places I ended up stuck in a wall or under an object, but it was easily avoidable by standing somewhere different. Overall a very fun and well made game.
Cute and enjoyable game. It took me way too long to realize the flying monsters were collectables and not enemies you had to avoid, I kept thinking "Why would I ever go over there just to die?"
Very cute art, I love when the little old guy put the V sign while winner XD
one of the better platformers which incorporates ideas different from you standard platformer
13/15
You know the game is great when you lose track of time and get immersed playing. I like how you use the theme to make the magic system in this game. It's a good blend of creative and fun! Controls are simple and the mechanic itself seems simple, but the way you use it for puzzle solving and going through the levels feels very nice and rewarding. Good job guys!
This mechanic is exactly the mechanic that came to mind when I first heard about the topic! I struggled with level design and moved on to other genres, so playing well-made levels was more fun!
Thats very kind of you! I think there wont be a full game tho, but the initial idea was having 3 "worlds": the first inside the terrarium, the second you get a little bigger and you are the mages table about the size of a rat, and then in the third the guy gets impatient and he grows bigger than his own house and you have to find a way to become smaller again
Absolute banger. I love the music, art style, gameplay loop... Just had a blast discovering all mechanics and all possibilities.
The polish on this game is crazy! Enjoyed the mechanic, though it felt a bit clunky at times when I got confused as to which button would do which action (I did get used to it over time though).
The little imps were a cool touch, though I missed the one in the second level before I knew I could scale myself down! I don't really have anything else to say on this; the art was great, the music was fitting, and it was a clever mechanic suited to the theme. Good job!
Edit: Oh, also, I would have really liked some coyote time for the jumping! I fell off the edge of things trying to jump over way too many times.
Yeah, noted on the coyote time. I think we weren't concerned with it at first because we're a puzzle platformer instead of an action platformer, but I think it would've made things a little better. Towards the end I thought about adding it in but by then I think it would've allowed you to skip a few parts of the puzzle 😅 oh well, next time! Thanks for playing!
This is such an awesome game, you guys did a great job not only at the idea, but also execution and polish! I liked the collectible flys and the option to scale the player itself!
this was really lovely, i really liked the addition of optional collectables on top of getting to the goal. and when the levels where you scale the player got introduced i was so surprised! really good work here
I'm glad you enjoyed! The collectables were a very cute idea to give more interest in the levels. We were discussing the possibility of having secret levels if you got all the gargoyles, but we just decided to keep it simple.
And yeah the game designers were super creative with the levels and the one that introduces the idea that you can scale yourself was done in a such clever, but simple way it works instantly
Great idea, great execution. Beautiful pixel art and level design! First submission I see of the whole jam and you have already set the bar pretty high! The only bug I've encountered is that you can get out of bounds very easily in the level with the two vertical rails with buttons at the ends, but overall an amazing experience! 4/5
If you could take a look into our game Food in the Wall it would be really appreciated!
