Excellent entry, nice job! Everything's cool from the pixel art and music to the puzzle and game concept. Well done !
This game's interpretation of the theme is the best one I have seen yet. I love the controls. They're very well thought out. The game is polished and well presented. The puzzles are interesting and thought provoking. Happy to have beat the whole game. You all did a phenomenal job.
Super polished game! Absolutely loved the level design and the game's core mechanics! I loved having to figure out the timing and order of which two objects to grow/shrink. My jumps did feel a bit off and would accidentally get stuck sometimes, but regardless it was so much fun, I'm glad I was able to free the wizard!
This was a very pleasing puzzle game with a nice progression of mechanics and good polished puzzles! The art is very pretty and the level of detail you were able to put into it was impressive, and the music was nicely jaunty as well!
Some nitpicks: It took a moment for me to understand what the tutorial was asking me to do but I'm really not sure how you could have done better, and I did figure it out, so clearly it worked! I also had some trouble figuring out how to click on myself (I thought the mouse icon was a cursor rather than surrounding a reticule), and it took my partner telling me "scrolling down always transfers mass to purple, up always to orange" for me to understand the transfer direction. (That's on me, you pretty clearly telegraphed that with the mouse icon and my partner was able to figure it out easily.) It also wasn't immediately clear to me that the birds were pickups, so maybe if the top left icon was a bit more ostentatious somehow, that would be more obvious. I did like the additional challenge of the optional pickups, though, they definitely added something.
A minor bug: When restarting the game, the level count doesn't reset, so even though I was playing the first level, the title said I was playing level 17.
Overall, a very impressively polished, fun game with a simple but very well-executed take on the theme!
Very fun puzzle game, the concepts are simple enough that it feels great to solve them
I love how our game idea was almost identical, but the 2 final games are still pretty unique. The puzzles were fun and the crystals also added a nice mechanic.
Some nitpicks:
The only real issue (bug?) I noticed was that the jumping was a bit off, eg. not jumping properly or unable to jump right after landing. It doesn’t impact the gameplay much, but it would be nice if you could look into that :)
Damn! loved this! i made some similar puzzles !! but this ones are unique
Really polished puzzler with very nice art and good mechanics. Fun!
Great game! I liked really much the progression and inclusion of new mechanics. The music integrates great with the art. Nice!
Very interesting mechanics, beautiful graphics. Nice atmosphere. The platforming could be a bit better. I didn't notice any input buffer or coyote time, but other than this, a flawless game.
This was so much fun! I loved the moment I realized I could change the size of the Wizard. Very clean and fun puzzles/level design.
The art is so good! There's so many details I can't imagine how much I missed in the playthrough. I like the ending where you escape by shrinking the corkscrew. It'd be cool to have more things that you can change sizes with too.
Amazing work! This is a really fun game and some really fun puzzle mechanics. The look of the game is so clean too. The controls sometimes felt a little off, for instance spacebar didn't always make me jump on the first press which was a bit odd. Overall though that is just a small nitpick of an otherwise amazing game! And I just have to add you did so well juicing it up that every time I thought I caught everything I would notice just another little juice. It felt like a scavenger hunt for gold in the middle of a treasury!
This has so good level design. Awesome puzzles, Art is great. Movement is really smooth. I don't really have any criticism for it. I would say more of mechanics, Some more Sound Tracks. More UI will make the game a bit better. Ideally more of what already is there.
Awesome game
This was incredible! I did not have time to finish it yet but I will be coming back to this for sure! Such a cool concept, a really creative take on the theme and puzzle platformers in general, and so polished! I'm not sure how many levels you made but I would legitimately pay for this. Great job!
Your game had the most interesting concept in the jam.. and it was executed perfectly! It was very interesting though I would like to see more stuff in it. Also I had a bug. When I went in the menu and back in the game it said I was on level 7. Other than that.. this game has a very big potential!
We'll take a look at that bug, thanks for checking it out!
No problem. It was a very nice game. Had a nice time with it.
I love this game. The music was great, the puzzles were great and it was a fun twist being able to shrink and grow the micromancer himself. I played through the entire game enjoying every second of it. Well done.
very nice! i like the block changing size and the way they transfer the mass, keep the good work!
Interesting control scheme! Also hello from a fellow Godot user
Every other level I was like "Oh wait, I can do that!?" It was really cool and a lot of fun. Great job!!
