Swap between both sides of a chess match, and instead of trying to achieve victory, you're trying to destroy all pieces and reach a stalemate. The King, typically a passive piece, is the primary offensive frontliner!

Great concept! I feel like the interpretation of the theme is a bit of a stretch, but that didn't stop the game from being fun. I did have a couple situations where I couldn't move pieces even though it seemed like I should have been able to, but maybe I was looking at it wrong. Regardless, the game still played great and had some nice visuals and sound. Nice work!
Oh my, such a fantastic concept for a puzzle game, and also really well executed. I really loved the main mechanic, it allows for so many different puzzle scenarios. The visuals were also great. The only gripe I could have is the background moving after every move, it made me a bit dizzy, but I know it's just a bug that it moves that fast. Overall, really great job!
As a person who doesn't play chess, I am glad to give this a try. The package as a whole is amazing. The whole vibe is blissful, and I really liked it. Superb job.

I wasn't expecting an anti-chess game in this jam! The game looks beautiful, and sounds great.
I expected a stalemate to also result in a draw but it appears that is not the case. :(
This game was truly beautiful. The art and sound all blended so well together, and the puzzles were incredible! Only small criticism I have is that sometimes the pieces wouldn't select when I clicked them, even though the sound would play.
I like playing chess and i liked playing your game to. Nice extra you can kill the figures by breaking the ground.

Even if I don't like chess, i found this mechanic very interesting! WIth come improvements you can make a very good completed puzzle game!

I love chess, and I especially love interesting variations of the classic game. I've always thought more games should use the rules of chess to create engaging puzzle mechanics, and that is exactly what you've done.
