Maybe a slight stretch of the theme, we went with the phonetically identical "Rolls Reversed" as the central conceit of the game.

This is pretty great; while the tie in to the theme is tenuous it made for a hilarious joke upon beating that first level. Well done.
Really great sense of momentum in this game, I love that there are multiple routes at some points in the levels. It took me a little while to realise that wall running was based on mouse look rather than just when you join the wall, but once I got the hang of that I replayed a few levels because its fun to try and get a good time. I did not expect that interpretation of the theme but hey it works and its funny!

It would probably have been helpful if we had included some explanation on how the wall-running works in the game, as a few people seem to trip over that on their first attempts. Definitely something to look at for a postjam version.

That's my favorite so far! Literal interpretation of the theme and irony of a toilet roll along with a dynamic runner gameplay is a masterpiece 👌🏼

There is definitly a bit of jam jank, but we hope we'll be able to clean that up a bit with a post jam build :)

Gameplay is simple and easy to get, good level of difficulty on the levels even tough it wasn't always clear where to go and the music is awesome and feels good with the action.
Considering the 48 hours, it is very impressive, well done!

I love this ! Speedrun strats, let's go.... Roles go OUT for crying out loud. Also the cheeky menu option to allow you to pick the "correct way" is hilarious. Well done, the music is indeed "slapping", everything is smooth, well done ! Especially impressive considering the time limit. Everything felt fair, if I fell down, it was because of my epic speedrunning skills being too much for the game to handle, not the mechanics :D Thank you for submitting this to my stream on twitch !

Pretty nice game! definitely gave me an adrenaline rush. Could use a bit more polish, to make it more obvious why the character slows done when they do, but I could easily see this becoming a full game :-) I mean it is a jam game and I spent more than an hour in it xD
My best times so far are: 8.57; 17.55 and 39.38Sub 40 hype for the Golden Heights time :D
Funny interpretation of the theme, it made me laugh every time.

Beat it! That was a really enjoyable speed running game and the whole "rolls reversed" gag caught me off guard and gave me a chuckle

The game has a solid base for 48h game, it's 3d and nice, well done! and I managed to get 01:23:56 on the last level it's not that good but it gets the job done! can you also play my game please so that I can get feedbacks !
I had a lot of fun with this. I managed to get 00:38:13 on the last level with some effort, which I think is pretty good. The main issue I had was with my momentum randomly going away sometimes. It's really easy to clip objects and sometimes I lost it when I wasn't even touching a wall. Overall, though, great work! I love the take on the theme, it's very funny.
Oh wow 38:13 is an amazing result for golden heights! We spend quite a long time chasing a sub 40 time internally and didnt even know for sure if it was possible before finding 2 rather large skips. Would be curious to see if they are the same ones you took?
The momentum mechanic definitly is a bit oversensitive at the moment, especially when landing jumps and before reaching max momentum. We'll have a look at making a postjam build after we catch up on sleep and the voting is done and hope to make it a bit more consistent.

No problem! The two skips were right before each curved wall running segment, where you can cut the corners.
I really want to like this game but it feels way too hard for me.
The music is great and I like the way it lights the background in rythm, and the concept is really funny, I laughed when I finished the tutorial.
But the game itself is so hard, I don't understand how I'm supposed to maintain momentum between alternating wallslides, and I keep falling to my death because I press the jump button slightly too late, I think adding some coyote time would help the game feel a lot, but I might simply be too casual compared to the target audience.
Overall I think it's still pretty great! Good Job!

Coyote time as well as a few other tweaks are definitly something we wanted to look at, to make it easier to get used to the game controls and get the timings right. As game jams go we didnt get to that for the jam release, but might revisit it for a postjam run.
As for the momentum: When walljumping you get pushed out of the wall with no need to face away from the wall in a steep angle. This allows you to use the limited air controll in the forward direction, rather than "crashing" into the second wall. Definitly takes a bit to get used to, but is very fun once you do =)
Really awesome game! The stretch on the theme was hilarious and i was not expecting it, gameplay was smooth and overall just a really impressive game for 48 hours!
