A nice take on the tower defense reversal. Without health bars or damage numbers though it's tough to tell what unit I should buy or how I should strategize. There is quite a bit of waiting around, that's easily fixed with spells that the player can cast or maybe even just fast forward features. solid entry.
Pretty cool.
I think early on, the trebuchets on half the field were kinda inconsequential, but they became more of a threat later on when they were clumped closer together.
Nearly lost the last level on my last lancer.
I think you should disable friendly hit detection.
My Hobgoblins kept pushing my lancers into firing range.
Then were call clumped together and got taken out by a focused barage.
Good idea to make reverse tower defence game. When I saved for a big army it was fun to play. Maybe the game was too slow, you must wait for a long time before the only troll you have left destroyed the base center. Either scaling everything up or adding some button with 2x, 4x, 8x speed would help, but I don't know it's just my opinion.
Interesting concept. I think it could do with a little bit of extra polish - sound effects, a faster time button, and a better UI. I like how its not just a simple reversal of a tower defence - it being on an open field and you being able to place troops pretty much wherever on the body leads to some interesting strategical decisions on placement. Nice one.

Well done, was fun trying out things and seeing what works well :D
Cool design ! I enjoyed trying out different configurations and understanding more strategies as the levels got more challenging. Kudos for this
Very cute little game, I like that you thought about some edge cases like not placing any units at all. I enjoyed the troll spam strat :D
My Twitch chat would like to extend a few words as well: " disclaimer: This review was wrote by twitch chat, be afraid aha truly a lifechanging experience solved my marriage problems amazing 10/10 would it runs better than cyberpunk10/10 restored faith in humanity"
Well done, it's a funny concept that needs some fine tuning to make it more strategic. Couldn't buy the Hob or the Knight on my end, i used the goblins more often ;)
I love the pieces explanation, speedy boi was my go-to. Only suggestion I would have would be to add a speed up button, as waiting for a single boi to finish the HQ can get a bit too tedious
Cool idea and well executed! The art and feel of the game go together well.
As others have noted, it was a little hard to know where to place the bois, but once I did it was fun. Some game balance might be due (on early levels) but I also like that it adds complexity over time.
Game is cool, i enjoy playing it. But i kept trying to click to select the goblin and use half a minute to figure out i was suppose to place them at the edge of the screen.
The graphics are simple but get the job dones. I realy liked the music. The gameplay seems a little too slow for me but it might depends of the guy playing it. I would have liked to have a speed button and clickable UI.
