How does your game fit the theme?
My game is about that story where the hero kills the dragon and saves the princess, but you can change the roles of the characters at any time to make, for example, the princess kill the hero and save the dragon.

I got stuck on the 3rd level. The best I could tell I was supposed to roll through the fire but I couldn’t time it right. Otherwise I think it’s a pretty fun mechanic to switch between them to have different abilities.
Enjoyed it! its a nice game concept! Also very good implementation of the theme.
Such a cool idea! I love that mechanic of changing your controlled character also changing who plays what role in the story. That's a really nice interpretation of the theme. There's so many places you could go with that. Felt a little awkward to me having two of their actions on LMB and then the princess's on shift, I definitely had times where I tried to dash by pressing LMB, but besides that, very fun. Great work!
This mechanic is super interesting! It has a lot of potential, once you get used to: You can easely make a complete game from it! Good job!!!
P.S. I think some hazard have too big colliders!
Oh this is one of the more creative ways I've seen the theme implemented!
Pretty interesting puzzle game. As others have mentioned the hitbox on spikes are painfully precise. A little bigger window for the error would be nice, considering that sometimes you can switch to dragon and get instantly killed because of it's huge hitbox, but i'm nitpicking. I also feel like the characters are a bit too slow. Obviously that was done for balancing purposes, so it's not that much of a problem.
Regardless, the literal approach for the Jam's theme seemed simple at first, but i understood the second layer in your realization after i finished the first level.
At first i was like "well, just get the dragon killed, easy win" but then i understood that, as you said, you change the roles, not the characters, so you will always have a villain to defeat.
And gotta say, that's pretty smart, good job! Too bad i wasn't able to defeat the princess to save the knight, heh.
Love the art and the concept, it looks like a real game even though it's been developed in just 2 days, amazing !
Cool Concept! The effect combined with the camera lerp makes the princess' dash feel really good to use.
If you do a future release after the game jam, I would recommend shrinking the hurtbox of the spikes.
Thank you!
I originally wanted the hero to have a shield ability so he could block the dragon attack, I would have added other minor enemies for the hero to kill too if I had more time, he is kinda useless when controlling him by now. And the controls were made like that because the princess originally would have an attack and the hero would have a dash too, but the princess dash was already OP so I just spent my time somewhere else.
Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to get past the very beginning. Seems like a cool concept though!
It would be greatly appreciated if you rated my game as well! https://outercloudstudio.itch.io/fire-swap
