How does your game fit the theme?
Reverse bullet hell. You need to absorb bullets to heal yourself and you must keep enemies alive as long as possible before killing them to absorb as many bullets as possible.

Really liking the art. I do wonder if there is any reason to ever toggle off your gun. Pretty fun.
Bit difficult to play, but I can tell you put a lot of effort in the game, good job!
This game might have been a little too complex for me. I saw all the text, but I was thinking I'm not going to remember all this, and I was right. If you had a tutorial level or something with gameplay perhaps that would have made it easier. Anyways, the visuals did not look as clean and nice as it did in the opening, controls, etc. You did add some lore to your game which is good. The music also sounded nice. If I could actually play the game adequately perhaps I could have given a better review of it, but for now it's out of my league.
Great take on the theme! Having to balance running around the space with going back to the terraformer leads to a very nice gameplay loop. I would play an expanded version of this!
The game is fun! I've a few games with this concept, but this game is wonderful! The art and music are amazing!
It reminds me of Into the Breach where the enemies are useful to the player, so great adaptation and use of the theme of the jam. I think the gameplay loop is hard to wrap your head around at first, which is the same problem my team had, but I think that's indicative of the role reversal working strongly! Good job
Good idea, art and realization. Plays smooth. It was bit unclear before i've read tutorial (my fault) :D
Well done!
Love the mechanic of having to collect enemy projectiles and constantly bringing them back to replenish health. good job!
Cool game, you shoot robots to gain a score, uhh I think so. Yeah, the tutorial is just an info dump, couldn't take in all the information at once since it is late at 3:48 am
First I played the game wrong since I couldn't keep all the information in my tired head but when I reread it later it made everything make more sense. Interesting gameplay loop and nice art! I got 15370 points.
44960 so I did not beat the devs but had a lot of fun!
just these big orb enemies are annoying and so fast!
But then I guess you need them for challenge well done!
This was really fun and one of the most enjoyable games I've played this jam! it took a few attempts to figure out what was actually going on, but once you get the hang of it it's really engaging. I would consider maybe adding an interactive tutorial where it spawns just when enemy and a text prompt tells you to wait to attack it until as late as possible.
great game! didn't understand at first, should have read the "why this gamed is reversed" haha, i liked it ! it got good potential for a futur game if you continue after the jam. would play ERU again
My high score was 527997!! This game was really fun, although hard to understand at first (without reading how to play) I eventually got the hang of it. I recommend having a shorter how to play section with more readable text as player generally dont want to read through all of that, but regardless this game kept me playing a long time and it was super fun, I actually would've liked it even *harder* because of how much fun it was. Well made and lots of fun.
Very interesting game. I think the how to play should have been in a much more obvious location and I didn't like the toggle for the weapon instead of just holding to keep shooting, but I think the concept, art and gameplay were really good.
Intersting starting point with a coll game concept! Maybe you could make the character more contrasting with the environment! Well done!
I also did a "reverse bullet-hell" and it's nice to see a different take on this genre. Good job making the game !
This game is incredible - very intense, and indeed it is reverse bullet-hell. You want to soak up all the orbs, yet you still have to manage the hordes of round drones (I hate those things my gawd they are so tanky and fast and have unpredictable movements). The only thing that bugs me was the fact that enemies can spawn too much, overlapping one another, making it impossible to destroy an enemy that is gonna explode because that drone is just stuck underneath like, 20 other entities. But again, that is also part of the game's difficulty, you have to manage the horde so that it doesn't overwhelm you like that.
10/10!
The game is very nice. The tutorial was a bit of an info dump, but other than that good job.
Stressful multitasking! I wish the hits were indicated more clearly (enemy blink or something), also forgot what the second ability does. Great idea with the color tint of the screen because I had no time to look at the UI :D

I am so grateful for that youtube video. It's usually hard to see how people experience the game blind. I'm glad you enjoyed it and I'm more glad you actually understood it. I get that it's very unintuitive, but you did a great job. Also, the second ability makes your dash (right click) destroy enemies that you dash through. I made it as a way to more easily kill specific targets instead of just blowing everything up with 1 or 3 (also, I noticed your RNG almost never gave you any of the 1 power up haha)
