A jam submission

Fruit MassacreView game page

The way of the ninja is difficult, but the way of his sensei throwing fruits at him to train him is way harder.

Really well executed, and the art is fantastic.

Interesting idea, and good execution of that idea. Great submission!

Works only in full screen for me but otherwise great game. Love the music too!

Submitted(+2)

Haha, I love the idea! Really well done - I like how generous the game is when it comes to timing/precision. Very well balanced!

Great idea and awesome execution, but I found the game quite hard (especially at the start). Maybe, like its inspiration, it's meant to be played on a smartphone to be fully enjoyed?

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the review! That would be a nice idea. Let's see how the jam ends and think about it.

nice job

I've always disliked fruit and this game allowed me to live my darkest fantasies.

FYI - if you're like me and the WebGL window is too small fullscreen it and it's perfect :)

Developer(+1)

We are glad you could release your hatred in our game, come back anytime you feel fruits are going against you 😂

For the fullscreen we had some issues, we will surely fix it if we ever make an update for it.
Thanks for playing! 😁

Might be something to do with my Mac's weird 16:10 aspect ratio! Worked well in the end regardless

Tremendous! Nice twist on the original game

nice game !

Takes a while to learn to time the throws correctly, but its fun and original idea.

I was wondering how you were doing the slicing. I really enjoyed this game.

A suggestion: combos

Submitted(+2)

Fits the theme really well and is very polished. Playing the reversed role is just as much fun as playing the original Fruit Ninja. Good stuff

Submitted(+2)

Cool reverse idea of the "Fruit Ninja" game and awesome implementation of it!

Submitted(+3)

Solid submission. Really feels fun to play. Simple but well executed, just like a jam game should be.

Developer

Thanks for the nice words. Your game is a bomb too!

it reminds me so much of a coco puffs game i used to play from a cd that came in the box of ceral in the 90's when I was a kid.

I think the slices are too slow so it gets a little boring. Maybe if it ramps up speed or you have to throw specific fruit at diufferent times that would improve the experience a lot?

Great work on this guys

one of my starting Ideas was very similar to this "Fruits trying to be cut"
and you executed the idea flawlessly, I enjoyed setting up for combos

Well designed game and the controls are easy to use. Fun to play

Submitted(+3)

Really fun take where you can flip who you play as and still make it feel so similar. Great job.

Submitted(+3)

Great execution and a brilliant take on the original. Fits the theme extremely well!!
