This most of the times just feels like playing the same level twice with different character, having two players doesn't lead to very interseting gameplay. Also the rotating camera makes things much harder to control than it should be

I really enjoyed the puzzles, though further into the levels they started being more and more demanding in terms of skill, and it was just too hard. The only gripe I have is with the camera, while it adds a bit more challenge and ultimately is engaging, it just was spinning too much when I tried to focus on puzzles themselves. But a really nice idea nevertheless!
@just_manu nice game, I think music is a bit too mechanical something soothing could work much better but over good work mate :D
Thanks for making this :) Good puzzles
The camera spinning was cool initially, but it became distracting while trying to solve the puzzles. It could be reserved for other things like the camera could spin into position at the start of the level, but then it should hold still while you're solving it.
I really liked the presentation this game gave, both visual effects and audio! I think mechanically, while it was cool to see some of the puzzles where you would have to do something with each orb, a lot of levels felt like just doing the same level twice to me. I think it would have been really neat if you leaned harder into the two separate orbs ideas in the puzzles, and made mechanics that required the set up you have. Either way, it was a really fun play, great job!
Cool game. I really liked the added challenge of the rotating camera. That gave the game a unique feel. It would probably feel better with a control though so movement could be smoother.
It's interesting, but I don't feel like there were that much interaction switching between both, it was like you were solving a level once, and then going and doing it a second time, there weren't enough interesting decisions. I really liked the visuals of this, it's very clean. I would probably do without the rotating camera though. I would be interested to see where you take this going forward! Great work!
a really nice selection of puzzles, with a really nice concept to tie it together. I would like to see this idea taken further. great stuff.
I really don't like the camera rotating all the time, but the puzzles were nice. The art and the music are relaxing and it fits the game perfectly. good job ^^
Charming idea! Loved the art and music. The levels could be a little more challenging but keeping in mind that is a game developed in a 48hour windows is well done. Good job.
This could become a really good game, but I think the mechanic is not well used. Most levels don’t require the existence of two characters and are just “do x two times”, you should try introducing more challenges where one would mess with the goal of the other, or goals that they must get coordinated to resolve. Also, the levels rotation are quite annoying and don’t really needed to happen. I see great potential in it! Keep it up!
Concept is good. I like the simple model, color, particles. Vertical/Horizontal Moves and Spinning camera does not match together, as we are force to correct trajectory just to go straight. I expected more cooperation between the two (but perhaps missed it, I did'nt play all the levels). Thought great game.
i really like the music and the design ! i dont really have much new to add but like most other people i think the spinning camera causes a few issues with the controls and it makes a bit of nausea, but if i could also add maybe the two players could benefit from being a little faster ? so sections like the checkerboard-spikes level are a little less tedious, i think its a cool concept that you could easily expand on but itd be nice if the game was a little more forgiving.
I really like the visuals. If you were to continue or expand the project I would change a few things. The constant rotating camera made it hard to control my characters so I would try a fixed camera for a game like this. Also I would think about adding checkpoints too. Good visuals thanks for sharing this game :D
Pretty good, some room for improvement though. I only made it to level 6 before I got too frustrated to continue.
The good:
- I like the visuals, simple but pretty. I’m easy to appease with glowy stuff.
What I’d improve:
- The font in the beginning is difficult to read for me
- Constant rotation of the camera makes the characters somewhat difficult to control accurately (have to sort of tap e.g. A-D-A-D to go in a straight line when the camera just happens to be diagonal at a given time. It also makes the locations of items hard to see properly. I would often try to pick up a key and fail because the character was in front of it instead of directly on top.
- The spike platforms that hide and unhide are kind of annoying to wait around for, especially on the level with nothing but spikes. Most of the time is spent waiting for the spikes to disappear. And then go over the exact same thing but with the other character.
- Could use some checkpoints or something. Quite often the player has to do a tedious set of operations (like wait for a bunch of spikes), make a mistake and have to do it all over again.
- It might be more interesting if the characters had some sort of difference, either in level design or character design. The levels I got to play (1-6) often just had the two characters do the same exact thing but mirrored, first one then the other. No weaving between them required or any real interaction or careful planning.
- The moving platforms slide under the characters. I’d personally prefer it if the characters moved with the platforms.
Overall, it’s an alright experience. I like the visuals but the level design and mechanics could use a bit of work.
I really liked the presentation and level design!
Is there a way to make the camera not move automatically? I got a bit nauseated after a few levels and had to stop. :P
Classic gameplay but good levels. I also really love the visuals! They are pleasent to look at. The music complements the game nicely.
