How does your game fit the theme?
There is a connection between the player and the "light stone" regarding the player's vision. The further away the worse the vision, and when they are "together", the vision is quite different.

I like the concept of this game. Players have to constantly make a choice to drop the light stone or to take it. The levels of this game are all pretty clever and well made. I also like the artworks. It looks pretty good. However, there is a minor issue that sometimes I can hold the light stone while still being able to see the environment. I think this bug breaks the game experience a little bit. But anyway, this is really a fantastic work for 48 hours!

Thank you very much for the kind words! :)
After the jam I will try to fix this bug

The concept is fresh, i like it, but i feel like its kinda like a memory game, which im not sure if you intended

Developer

Beautiful game, I felt like I was one of the fossil's in the Pokemon caves.  Really clever mechanic too.  I had a lot of fun playing too.  Good luck!

Lovely game! I think the first time I used the light thing I got very confused, but after that I pretty understand what was going on. I think there's a bug that lets you be on the "light mode" without seeing everything white, but I couldn't find a reliable way to reproduce it.

Congrats for your submission!

Nice little platformer.

However, I was a little bit confused by the white out effect of the light stone.

Very unique! I liked the idea a lot. But also challenge. I think the second level could be a little bit easier.

Pretty game and unique concept. I liked the extra challenge of not starting near the light in the last level. Also, there was a bug where picking up the light would some times not white out the screen.

Developer

Thank you for playing! :D
When the Jam is over, I will try to fix the bug.

Enjoyed the simple art style. There was a lot of times when I picked up the light but the screen remained the same so I could see the spikes and the mosters ignored me as well. And I felt that I didn’t really need the light most of the time anyway. The idea has some potential though.

Cool idea! The implementation is a little rough and maybe doesn't quite achieve what you were going for, but interesting nonetheless.

Developer

Thanks for playing! :) Yes I agree with you... The implementation is a little rough. I think the levels should be bigger. Maybe in the future I will try to expand the concept.

Nice game! It felt like I didn't really need the light for the most part as I wasn't really limited in doing anything without it? If this game was expanded on I could see it being really good.

Thank you very much for playing and the feedback! Maybe in the future I will try to expand the idea :D

Great execution! very simple gameplay but really love the fact that you can play in the light and dark zone and beat the game either was. It adds a sort of replay ability even if its a short game! you can add achievement for beating the game in the dark or vice versa! love how the music changes a bit when you change zones! great job!

Developer

Thank you very much! That's a good idea! :D
