This is definitely fun and interesting when I can understand the level. Like some others I didn't realize I could aim the attack for a while, and it did seem that sometimes I couldn't aim it directly using the arrow keys, but had to instead use them to kind of walk it around in a certain direction in order to actually move it. I'm afraid I didn't understand the dash at all. It might help if there were a clear indicator of when the planned attack was plain invalid (wouldn't do anything) to sort of help sort through it.
That being said this was definitely innovative! Thank you for the experience ^_^ Cheers.

This is really cool, unique concept. But i didn´t get the game at first, maybe say what the objective is, i didn´t know why i died over and over again. Definetly could be fleshed out into a full game. I hope the feedback helped you, would be nice if you would check out my submission too. :)
Wow, this game is super fun and super addicting!
There are some things that could be communicated better. Like, I think you never actually say that you can aim your slice with WASD. It took me a lot of levels to actually discover that.

On the first level we tried to explain how to move the indicator but we definitely struggled with explaining many mechanics in the game. Thanks for the feedback!
Fun concept, racking up combo kills was very satisfying! I'm not sure if it was a glitch or if it just wasn't communicated very well, but it was hard to tell how exactly I was dying and who was attacking me at what time.

You die by either not killing all the enemies with a single slice or you colliding with an enemy.
Love the Sokoban style concept with a different and thematic goal!
its a bit difficult to understand at first but very fun once you get it, nice work
I like that we have several jiangshi to use in a puzzle, but sometimes I don't know much how the slice actually works. Does the ronin only slices through one if the target isn't adjacent another one in the line, or everything is fine?
Btw Jiangshi is in Chinese and Ronin is Japanese, so I assume this Ronin one goes way to China to get revenge? haha

Yea so the the dash slice works by slicing again through any other jiangshi that aren’t in the same direction. So if you slice up then after it will search for any other jiangshi that arent up or where u came from to continue the combo.
We just tried to make sprites that were hopefully understood in a few pixels haha.

Hits a similar sweet spot to Baba is You, for puzzle solving. A lot of fun, and looks and sounds great!

Really satisfying game! The concept of joining your attacks creates some super fun gameplay. The slide sound effects and the blood spilling really add to the fun killing multiple enemies in a row with a single dash! Good job guys!
