How does your game fit the theme?
Two characters (Trick and Treat) must stay close to each other for Trick to survive. Although they have unique mechanics when you control each, there is always something keeping them together.

Really nice idea and execution! The core mechanic reminded me of my own game (/shameless self-promotion:p), although you had a different take on it. The health loss on leaving the horse's aura had me worried for a second, but then I realized the health is replenished when you return to your horse, which made it very forgiving and more of a puzzle. Also appreciated the show-don't-tell approach to teaching the player how the game worked, instead of lengthy written instructions.
Oh, and of course, the graphics looked really good :).
Really intereting idea, had fun with the levels.
Saw your game on Mark's stream yesterday. Nice idea.
(It would be great if Trick's fire inside disappeared outside of Treat's aura)
One of the ideas I had is having the flame inside Trick work kind of like a health indicator. As the health went down, the flame would get smaller. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to implement that in the end.
The gimmick of this is good. It gets you to think ahead and reconsider what to do if you get it wrong. It was interesting towards the start, but the gimmick didn't really stay interesting for the whole thing. I feel like it's missing something small to make the last few levels less similar to the previous ones, but I'm not sure what. But still I understand that some things aren't possible in a 48-hour time limit.
Great game and aesthetic! I loved how straightforward it was in what each character could do and their limitations, and I found the game really fun to play with the puzzles taking more that one attempt many of the time to get right. Great aesthetics and great job overall! Secret dev test gang! :) ︎♋
Nice take on the theme with having to be close to each other. I didn't see another game in the jam with this concept.
The vents or hot coals or whatnot are my bane! XD It's a little difficult not to step on them in certain circumstances, and it's nearly instant death if you were already on a little journey outside the magic circle.
Be that as it may I just LOVE this aesthetic and the idea and it's really wonderful and beautiful ^_^ It was fun. Cheers!
Finally! A game, where you control two characters but that's not annoying! Cool gameplay, nice puzzles. Only a bit of graphical artefacts when you move (tiling of a floor falls apart).
But still, nice game, really enjoyed playing it!
This is fun. I really love the aspect of not having to leave your companion and being damaged. Some quite challenging levels!
I loved this game! Really excellent idea executed brilliantly. It was the hand-drawn art that pushed this from a good game to a great game for me. Smashing work!
This is the most random theme I can remember. Well done! I liked the labyrinth sections.
First, why a horse that has an aura of glitter and keeps a pumpkin on fire? Second, I really liked the mechanics of the horse and the level design, congratulations.
Honestly I'm not sure how we came up with the idea for the characters but they looked nice in the concept art so we went along with it. I'm glad you liked the game though.
I like this game! Great art and gameplay! Good job!
Please check my game as well ;)
I liked the concept of the game, the mechanic is really interesting!
However, some level designs were more like a labyrinth. In my opinion, it is not a good way to challenge the player.
I really liked it! Fun level design with a cool mechanic :)
I like it ^^
