Hm, i think the scope of this project is blurring the positive aspects behind the idea and concept. It seems very much too ambitious for a 48h Game Jam.

But you did a great Job with what it is so far. :D

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Honestly, we don't think it was that ambitious. We both had other family commitments during the days so we lost a good chunk of time. If we didn't, we would have managed to get more levels in like we wanted :D by the submission date we were at a stange that dropping a couple of prefabs onto new levels would have almost been there.

But thank you! We're glad you liked it :D

Interesting concept and ambitious project for a game jam! Would love to see what it turns into with more time! some potential here! Great Work!

Developer

Thank you! It was very ambitious hahah :D

Your game looks very good, i love the vibe. a tutorial would have helped but in the end i managed to understand, so the game is intuitive :)

Developer

Thank you for the suggestion!

I know my next game jam will apsolutely feature a tutorial as it appears to be a very common request :D

This game looks amazing, and has a really solid base, it would probably be easily expanded into a full game.

A simple tutorial would probably make the game more enjoyable, as it can be confusing, but really cool overall

Developer

Thank you!
We had a full "thing" planned but unfortuantly time just got the better of us.

Agreed. A tutorial was apsolutely needed. Last minute we added the status text at the bottom left but couldn't expand it very much :)

Beautiful graphics.

I don't know how to attack or escape from ennemies. And the gray door don't work at all. But this is a good entry and cool idea.

Developer

Thank you!

Sadly we ran out of time before managing to make you attack the enemies. To escape you simply just need to run.

Which grey door? :)

Submitted(+1)

In the central HUB there is two doors. The first one is gray, the second one is blue.
Ok, just escape XD. I try to battle versus these bad boys !
Mais just an arrow do the job right here.

Developer

Got you! Yeah that was going to be the final big battle and everyone you rescued throughout the eras were going to be there to help you

Those graphics, OMG! And overall presentation, too

Didn't understand where to go at first, but otherwise those XCOM styled games are pretty fun.

One thing that was irritating is not being able to see and click all of the available pink squares

Developer

Thank you so much!! Graphics are not our strongpoint but comments like this really make us happy! <3

What do you mena by not clicking all of the available pink squares? As in they were off the camera, or you clicked them but nothing happend? :)

Submitted(+1)

I meant they were off the camera

Developer

Ahh I understand. Yes we ran into the same issue but never got around to fixing it. We would have made the camera rotateable.
