Just thought I would give you a heads up!
we did see that, we were super stoked! Thanks for the heads up anyway!
I think this has the potential to become a very addictive game, but the overall concept needs a bit more refinement.
Here's what I would do:
Make the graphics more true to life
Make the backstory a plane crash in the clouds.
Debris is raining down, and you must doge it. (Debris acts as the circle )
You collect various part to construct a glider (Mimicking the way the people link together)
If you hit a piece of debris, your gilder will lose those pieces.
That would be my approach!
Regardless, good concept!
excellent ideas! Thanks for the input!
I loved your visual tech to imply the downward descent! It looked incredible
thanks for the feedback!
Really good idea. The controls to me felt a bit tricky.
It is cool that it is important to get the sky divers close together, else you loose them. That's harsh, but they knew what they went to. ... And they could have moved themselves away from the obstacle.
Game has something special.
thanks for the feedback!
This was very interesting. The music complimented the gameplay perfectly too. Great job!
another satisfied skydiver! thanks for playing! The artist has a bunch of public domain music that is really good. Link to them on our game page.
Reminds me of something out of Warioware. The squishy sound design makes the experience.
thanks! I’ve never tried warioware before. we went through a lot of down selecting on the sounds.
Really unique idea! I certainly haven't played any skydiving games before, and this definitely stands out among the game jam submissions!
appreciate the feedback!
This game demonstrated a few things I haven't seen yet. Firstly, the concept was so unique and I've seen nothing else like it in the jam. Great innovation! Secondly, this game showed signs of good playtesting. There are a lot of minor details that might at first place go unnoticed, but to me showed a good sense of making a contained, but well polished experience. Even the simple thing of giving the main character a unique parashoot shape to help quickly identify the most important part of the jumble of skydivers. Very well thought out. Great job!
appreciate you appreciating the details!
Fun game! Pretty cool idea.
appreciate the feedback!
More games should show a pun of their name when you lose
thanks!
Haha pretty cool! Gets insane when you collect loads!
Really fun to play! I had the problem of dying without touching the red sometime too, but that's not game breaking, as you can restart on the fly and act like nothing happened... I even tried an alternate gameplay, trying to kill every people attached to me but being the only survivor of the red gate... ^^
thanks for playing! Good idea about the alternate gameplay!
Haha those death SFX were a little much (the falling music was nice though!). Other than the sound of squishing bodies, this was a relaxing game. Great artwork and vibe! Cheers.
thanks for playing, and the feedback!
This is a fun game, I felt bad for all my friends who followed me to their deaths, There just wasn’t enough space for us all to fit :(
They will be remembered. Thanks for playing!
I don't know why? The character doesn't touch the red. But it's still dead
hmmmm, we’ll have to look at our hit-boxes a little closer. Thanks for the feedback!
That was nice! I just missed having to take care of the other characters... After a while, when I noticed that they didn't change my game, I ended up letting everyone to die and I only worried about my character. But it was really cool
thanks for playing, and the feedback! We wanted to put some scoring in based on falling distance with the amount of people hanging on as a multiplier… but we ran out of time!
Pretty cool concept, ngl.
appreciate the honesty! Thanks!
