Stunning graphics, but the controls make no sense to me... when i get accustomed to up and down, right and left are totally opposite than what I expect... whatever character I focus on.

Really nice visuals, but could not see much!

Niiiiice! Beautiful game! And the physics and animation are really good too.

I couldn't find the exit, died a couple of time, and had to call it a day, time to go back to work... But I'll give it another go!

Well done!

Classic platformer! Perhaps a little too classic to justify all those explanations... ^^ But judging from the other comments you got, it's maybe not the case for everyone, so...

I liked the style, and the solowheeled robot moves well. I would not have called "damage" the jauge going down, it's more like carburant being depleted, but i'm pointing details... ^^

Got stuck by the platforms too, didn't go to the end...

But nice game!

Interesting concept, really easy... to get smashed! I'll leave that monster whale alone, it earned its freedom.

Nice game, but difficulty on the first jump of the third stage is way too dificult for me... The choice of w for jump and space for split is not adapted to my hands...

Frustrating, because I wanted to see more!

Look nice, but difficult to handle. I wanted to see more but couldn't pass the second screen, the beast kept falling in the hole when I tried to dash past it...

And yay, finally a fellow ue4 user! We are so few in this jam! ^^

I liked the general horror feeling, strenghened by many little details! The gorgeous miniature gif is a good seller! ^^

But I had difficulty to understand the system to tell who is the liar... I finally won a game by accusing random people... Oh, and some sprites are difficult to see on the dark background, maybe some sort of outline could help that.

Well, I tried to launch your game on my older compter (6 year old, but cutting edge at the time), and it ran way more smoothly... Don't know where does the problem come from, on my state of the art computer.

(1 edit)

Well, as I suspected, this obviously is not a genuine Review. Ashwinii did not play my game, he praises m'y sound design, and I didn't put any sound in m'y game... And If you look at the ton of reviews he posts, they feel all generic and vague, and he seems to post them only to get reviewed in return.

His game may be good, but I won't play it nor review it... this is not fair play. Be warned, you guys! And good luck to you all!

thank you for playing m'y game! ^^

(And once again, congratulation for your game, it's a great one!)

it was not a bug... There is no sound... didn't hâve the time to put any... I suspect the comment below to be either a joke on the lack of sound, or a person that didn't play to the game and just left that to add a link to his/her game ...

The core idea of the game was to have two different type of control, but I clearly need to fine tune further... I am already working on refining the project. Thanks a lot for the feedback!

Ooooh! Thanks! ^^

What sound did you like the most? ^^;

Wooooaaaah! What a game, for only 48h! and the level design goes on and on... And the style is good! My favourite game of the jam until now! And I didn't have my gamepad available, I want to play it again with a pad!

The silence of the first part of the game is the only critic I have...

Nice game!

Had a bit of difficulty understanding the setup menu at first, but once I got it, was really fun to experiment differents build, even though there's not as many builds possible as your concept deserve. ^^

I'd like to play an extended version!

Nice!

Very LGBTQ+ friendly! ^^

I would have liked that the people of same color was not all of the same 2 design, a color swap for all the different design could add a bit of variety, maybe... I had to put together so many people looking exactly the same, it was like making twins mate together...

But heh, 48h...

Nice work!

Really nice game!

I don't really understand where does lie the narrator... Is it a voice in our head? Is it the body speaking to the spirit? Where is that black cube without horns?

And there's a little lack of blocking volumes with all the objects, when we're in physical form... I felt as ethereal in both forms...

But the ambiance is great, and the graphics are coherent. Nice work!

Yeah, that was my first usage of a new version of ue4... So I didn't change anything prior of the Jam, and suddenly, I had 20min left to pack ans send the file... I hit the package button without any configuration.

On nearly 60 games I tested on this Jam, there was only 2 games made in ue...

You're the first to tell me about install prompt and firewall problem... That's weird, there's no net code... I'll check that.

Thanks for you're Review!

Really impressive! Gave me the good old Myst vibe!

On the down side: some work must me done on the optimisation... I have a beast of a pc, but it ran on something like 15 fps... and maybe show a little more what we are targetting, because interacting with the objects was sometime tedious.

It gave me just what it needs of hard thinking to make me dance between little frustration and little sense of accomplishment. Not revolutionary but nicely done! And it's a complete game, with a nice ending! Not a small feat in the 48h of the jam!

Haha nice!

On the first levels I thought "well, ok, that's simple, what can we build around that mechanic?"... And then the complexity hit me!

Well done!

Impressive!

Nice shooter!

I had some problems reading the font, as many letters share same visual, like a and r, u and v... But that's a detail!

thanks you! ^^

thanks a lot!

I tried to keep it as simple as possible, as graphics can easily be a time sink... But i'm quite satisfied by the efficiency of that simplicity.

Impressed by the multiple mini games, as it's already hard to get a single game working during a jam! Nice idea, good work!

Awesome game, nice execution!

The Credit level is very satisfying!

My only problem was with the sound fx making my headphone crackle in a very unpleasant way...

Nice arcade! Fun to play, but deserves a bit more diversity in things to deal with.

Really fun to play! I had the problem of dying without touching the red sometime too, but that's not game breaking, as you can restart on the fly and act like nothing happened... I even tried an alternate gameplay, trying to kill every people attached to me but being the only survivor of the red gate... ^^

Liked a lot the game!

In the beggining, until wave 11-12, I was thinking "too bad, it's too easy..." And then the mages came in force!

Great job! And the music altered while meditating is pure genius!

Could not play anything else than the 1st level, the next button, or the lvl2 button on the main menu don't do anything... But harder levels would have taken me ages to complete, if I can judge according my result on lvl 1... ^^

Nice little concept!

I like the concept a lot, but had some struggle with the controls...

Coudn't figure out the what is the goal... I kept dying without knowing what did kill me... But nice10 vibe!

Lacks of a challenging behaviour of enemies, but nicely done!

Cool original idea! (not so original comment, it seems...)

I found it too bad too that there's no progression in the complexity, but you've managed to focus to have a working game at the end of the jam!

Classic concept but nice iteration!

Very interesting mechanic, but a bit too ambitious for a 48h jam... need some more work to see where it can really lead.

Same problem, couldn't figure out how to play... Too bad, it seemed to be an interesting concept...
