Super hard! The momentum of the balls reminds me of marble madness - falling off the cliffs haha. It took me a minute to understand the controls because that first level the right ball just starts going (or maybe that was me by mistake). Could use a bit of tutorial but otherwise, great work!

It's a very tricky game, the only thing I would include would be a camera that allows you to adjust the vision - not knowing what's ahead makes it difficult to estimate with the momentum you build up, whilst reacting with the correct hand to steer against the controls. Overall really nice presentation, the game looks great and it's fun, well done!

Maybe it was just broken for me, but I couldn't get any sound. I only mention it because another commenter did though, so if there wasn't any then thats okay.

I found this game extremely difficult. The difference in the momentum buildup of each of the spheres was too great and it often ended with one of them shooting off ahead uncontrollably. I really liked the concept and appreciated the graphical choice, but it was a little hard to play at times due to not really understanding what the playable areas were.

A little more time on polish would have gone a long way, but I understand that you probably didn;t have enough time due to the jam rules.

it was not a bug... There is no sound... didn't hâve the time to put any... I suspect the comment below to be either a joke on the lack of sound, or a person that didn't play to the game and just left that to add a link to his/her game ...

The core idea of the game was to have two different type of control, but I clearly need to fine tune further... I am already working on refining the project. Thanks a lot for the feedback!

Cool, nice idea and interesting gameplay, and the simplistic design is great too! Nice works!

thank you for playing m'y game! ^^

Love the graphics. even the sound is great.~ Do check mine and give your valueable feedback:D

Developer

Ooooh! Thanks! ^^

What sound did you like the most? ^^;

Developer (1 edit)

Well, as I suspected, this obviously is not a genuine Review. Ashwinii did not play my game, he praises m'y sound design, and I didn't put any sound in m'y game... And If you look at the ton of reviews he posts, they feel all generic and vague, and he seems to post them only to get reviewed in return.

His game may be good, but I won't play it nor review it... this is not fair play. Be warned, you guys! And good luck to you all!

Cool game and a good implementation of the theme! You designed the levels well too, there were a few tough spots but for the most part I was able to push one ball into a corner and leave it there while I focused on the other ball. An idea for a final level might be some extended control over both of them, just to really ramp up the difficulty haha.

The first Unreal Engine game I see in this jam! It looks good, but... it comes in at 450MB (it seems you don't need all of those libraries?), it asks me to install some extra DirectX tools (this might be the first UE4 game I loaded on this computer though), and then it asks me to open up my firewall (for what exactly?). That might be what keeps the ratings down unfortunately...

Developer

Yeah, that was my first usage of a new version of ue4... So I didn't change anything prior of the Jam, and suddenly, I had 20min left to pack ans send the file... I hit the package button without any configuration.

On nearly 60 games I tested on this Jam, there was only 2 games made in ue...

You're the first to tell me about install prompt and firewall problem... That's weird, there's no net code... I'll check that.

Thanks for you're Review!

I really like the graphics

Loved the graphics! The idea is quite interesting and the controls are tricky enough to make the different levels feel reawrding. Good job!

Uff the graphics my friend <3

Love the graphics.

Developer

thanks a lot!

I tried to keep it as simple as possible, as graphics can easily be a time sink... But i'm quite satisfied by the efficiency of that simplicity.
