How does your game fit the theme?
"Gluing" together map fragments to traverse through an infinite tower, and uncovering the intrinsic recursive connections that bind floors together. In both cases, the player also experiences the fragility of theses connections, as entire floors of the tower are wiped from the player's cartographical canon.

The presentation is god tier, and the concept is really good. However, it feels like the puzzles definitely did not fully exploited what is possible within the concept, The last 2 levels are relatively hard but they are definitely still way too easy for the concept, which is a shame because I like everything about the game except that it's too easy, I supposed it says "brief introduction" for a reason.

Very cool, but I feel like i may have cheesed the final puzzle.

Thanks for playing! Cheese is always an acceptable countermeasure to the absence of playtesting :)

Unique ! But sometimes confusing...

This is very cool, but I got lost once the memory is introduced.  I like the aesthetic, but I found the ladders to be confusing.

Extremely interesting concept and honestly if a friend sent me a link I would not think this was anything other than a finished game!

My one complaint is that first ladder climb spooked me to no end, it has an oddly binaural sound to it that made me think someone knocked on the metal mesh of my window hahah

Great entry and awesome job coming up with something so unique :)

Beautiful use of recursion in a puzzle.  I'm surprised that such difficult yet interesting levels can be made using so little.

The only problem I have is that the levels get hard very quickly (at least for me). I got stuck on level 5.

Great job on the game!

Super tricky, but satisfying puzzles. Wish the audio was actually part of the game, but it does suit the mood pretty perfectly.

A mind-bending puzzle. I've very bad at puzzle games so I couldn't get through it but even from the first few levels I can see that the game can lead to some really fiendish puzzles. The presentation of the game was top notch, really impressive for the time limit.

Very neat! The last three levels were Recursed-level headscratchers. The core concept also seems to have enough depth to expand it even further. And thanks for the music recommendation. :)

What a challenging puzzle game!

This is great, definitely one of the more interesting jam games.

Have a great time playing it, like the concept and its really challenging. It could have some dungeonish sounds for ambient, not exactly music  i like it music less,  but something to break so much silent and get more immersive into the game.

Great concept amazing execution :O The game makes you think hard i love it. I would like to see more levels and ideas for this game its kinda samey at this time. Other than that i had a great time. Amazing work :D

I'm absolutely amazed. The idea is so simple, yet so clever. And there's a lot of opportunities to go further with differently shaped rooms, more rules and goals.
I had great time playing this little gem to the very end.

I'm hoping you had a lot of fun making this and that you'll continue to expand on the idea after the jam ends, cheers!

Nice concept and presentation. Provided levels are kinda easy and plain for puzzle game geeks, but I'm quite sure you could make more complex and interesting levels if you had more time. This game definitely has potential for that(last level was promising I would say). Good job!

Great work, and quite a brain twister.  I managed to beat all the levels, despite having to restart the final one many times.

That was great! I think that other levels than the last one should have tiles that change as you go down through the stack as to prep the player for that in the final level, but other than that there were some great puzzles in there!

Thanks so much for your feedback!

And yep, you caught me. There is one cut level that was going to serve as the bridge between those two levels.

In case you were curious about the reason:

The definition of the floor isn't actually changing from floor-to-floor. What you're seeing is the golden rule is that the upper floor always produce a physically possible lower floor, even at the expense of the canonical floor map.

In other words, if the upper floor says that there is a ladder descending to the lower floor at X=2,Y=5, then when the player descends, there will be a ladder ascending at X=2,Y=5 regardless of whatever normally should be there.

The players subconsciously experiences this by ascending/descending, but they never take it into their own hands to purposely & actively override a lower tile -- that was meant to happen in the cut level.

Hope you had fun and thanks again for taking the time to write up your experience.

Very Good Puzzle experience. The difficulty ramps up extremely well I confess I couldn't get past level 4 but I feel that's due to my own ineptitude rather than anything else.

Visuals are clean (the character is a different resolution and does clash with the hd art but in a game like this it's not too much of a big deal).

If you take this further I would love to see more solid themeing.  This all feels very abstract and I would love to see the tower being represented as a more grounded tower in some way. Though I appreciate it would be difficult.

Very original and fits the theme super well gold star!

Pretty cool! I was super confused at first, but it is a great concept!
