cool game

Really unique take on the two characters thing! I agree the distance could've been communicated better, but the gameplay was cool! I felt like the game didn't really challenge me with harder puzzles, which would have been really cool! Maybe an idea for more levels!

An interesting platforming concept and pretty good execution. However, rather than using a decimal number to represent the player's distance, one way to show the maximum distance could have been by using some kind of "chain" or "line" that stretched. That way, it would be easier for the player to see when they are getting close to the max distance, rather than looking at a gigantic decimal number with a different max value for each level.

Nice game with a cool take on the two player take by making them have to stay a certain distance between each other. Interesting puzzle game that I definitely enjoyed.

The UI was pretty good and I enjoyed the game, with a bit of polish it would be great

A pretty good concept with decent execution, it's an interesting game with a lot of different things going on as limitations between the two players, but, mostly works fairly well. A solid entry. Nice job!

Solid idea with solid execution, the player distance is a great idea but having it be such a large number (12.256153153) is a little hard on the eyes, if you made it so it was just (12.25) it would be much nicer on the eyes, this is easy to do here's a forum discussing it -> https://forum.unity.com/threads/how-to-round-a-float-to-2-decimal-places.361504/ . Good game overall :)

Very nice puzzle platformer! Having a max player distance was a nice factor, but it could be more visible if it was maybe a visible bar that goes down, instead of a number. Great job!

It's pretty fun!

Definetly engaging, and the puzzle aspects are nicely made

This was a pretty fun title! The UI for the main menu looks really nice, and these puzzles really made me think.  I like it!

I really enjoyed this take on the joined together movement system. rather than making the entire movement mechanics joined the space bar alone makes it more interesting and harder to mentally swap between what character you're controlling.

yeasssssss ik that would be good

Nice game! Just one thing, you could give a warning when you are close to the max distance limit.

Good job!!

THANKS!

Nice job! I liked how you played with distance in your puzzle design. The controls were nice and smooth. My biggest suggestion is that the game could use some more feedback when you're close to the maximum distance.

Developer

ok thanks!

This is quite an interesting concept you have here. Although this is a common take on the jam's theme, you've accomplished some very stylish aesthetics with simple and unique graphics. The controls were nice and it generally felt good to move and I like some of the puzzle mechanics you have going on.

From a design standpoint, it would be really nice to visually indicate to the player that they're almost out of distance instead of displaying text on the screen; even though that's much more precise, it doesn't look very good. Have a line join from both players and have it flash when you're near the 11 mark to signify that you're almost out of range. Some of the puzzle mechanics were also a bit hidden at first, one of the switches were kind of blended into the background and I had a little trouble figuring out what was going on. You need to make it obvious to the player where to go, and what's important, and you can highlight these things using particles, having the level "move" toward it, etc.

This is a good jam gam, keep it up!

thats so long thanks for the feedback!

There are some alright puzzles, but make sure the spikes on the ground are more visible, its a bit annoying to have died for what I had thought for no reason

Developer

check the distance

The concept is pretty interesting and can make for complex puzzles, though it would help to be able to tell what each component did without having to activate it first.

Developer

im no level designer im thinking of improving that thnks!

Neat concept, at times I wouldn't notice that I was close to getting over the distance limit. It might be a  good idea to give off a warning before you die.

Developer

i created in like 1 day i was thinking of that but my team left me :D
