Loved this game!

I think the art work, sprite design and animation were very well done.

Gameplay was fun and the idea of splitting the game was unique.

But,

- The AI pathing is a little dumb, sometimes it would just get stuck on an obstacle while trying to move in the direction of the player.

- The sound! The sound choices were not the best but added a very satisfying feedback. But the choice to trigger the same sound on hit for both enemy and obstacles was very annoying. Perhaps removing the sound on hit from obstacles altogether would be a good idea. The sound also duplicates each time screen duplicates, this makes the sound effect absolutely unbearable, especially the cast sound effect and the obstacle on hit effect.

- The end condition could be improved. When one copy of the sprite dies, it should trigger the end condition rather than much later.

Developer

Thanks for playing! We are polishing the game and we will take your feedback in account for sure! To be honest the answer to almost all your suggestions would be we didn't have enough time to do it better hahaha. However, about the end condition, when a copy of the sprite dies, definitely the game ends, but each copy has their own 3 lifes. We couldn't provide feedback about that and is a huge mistake for sure. We will change the player's health system anyways!

Beautiful game and cool concept! I only got to having 4 screens, but both times the number of screens increased was a surprise. First time, you're not expecting it at all, but then think it's going to be one of those side-by-side control 2 at the same time games. But then there's more screens! Very unique, I don't think I've seen anything like this before.

Developer

Thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

What a cool concept! It starts off so simple but when the screen begins dividing it's a mind blowing moment, and having to look at so many screens and taking into account your positioning and enemies in all of them truly captures that "loss of control" theme, well done!

Developer

Thank you!! I'm glad you liked it :)

Really awesome concept! Very fun. Liked the art direction. Had a similar problem to others where after I got to 9 screens, the game kinda just stopped. It'd be interesting if you other levels, and maybe after you beat the 9 screen stage you "win" that level or something. Well done, though!

Developer

Thank you for playing! Yes, theoretically if you beat the 9x9, you win the game. But to beat that stage you have to fight a boss that, unfortunately, has a bug and doesn't appear. We'll try to do better next time!

wow! the ideia is awesome! art is very cool too! I got to the 9 screens part, and the monsters stopped spawning! xD

would be cool if it had a mana meter, so you can't just spam the shoots, to be more challenging xD

overall very cool and very original!

Thank you! Glad you liked :)  Yeah, about the 9x9 screen, it was supposed to be a boss fight, but due to a bug it doesn't appear xD

Cool game, I enjoyed playing it! The art is really nice, especially the main menu.  The sound when you shoot a projectile sounds like it's cut a little to early at the end, but I don't know if that's intended. Overall a nice little game!

Developer

Thank you MasterMoni! Sorry about the sound, it wasn't intended, we were just running out of time haha

Nice art!

A little more Polish and it can be released on steam.

Developer

Thanks for playing! That's so kind, we definitely will polish it :)

Nice Game, enjoyed the split screens a lot. However the start button is hard to see, and it would be better to start the split screen earlier as someone might under mine the game, yet the beauty lies in the screen splits.

Developer

Thanks for taking the time to play our game Gracelungu! Also thank you for your feedback, we'll take it into account as we want to improve the game and solve some bugs.

I really like the main mechanic. I just want to report that when I reached the 9x9 screen, at some point enemies stoped spawning and I was stuck there... Also, just an idea: I think it would be interesting if the bullets could go from one screen to another.... Overall it was a nice experience... Best Luck!!!

Developer

Thank you for playing! Yes, the 9x9 was meant to be a boss fight, that's why there were fewer enemies and then stopped appearing. Unfortunately we got some kind of bug that made the boss desapear! xD

I liked the idea, but I think it would have been even cooler if the projectiles could travel across the screens and you would have to watch out for that as well (As in you would be able to hit yourself).

Developer

Thanks for playing!! Yes, we had that idea as well, unfortunately we didn't had enough time to implement it.

At first I literally said 'This is just the least original game' and i was shocked well done. My friend was watching me play and he was freaking out bc he thought it would be overwhelming but this was rly fun.

I liked the transitions between how many 'stages' there were and it was cool to hear all the sounds overlap in further stages. My one criticism would be to make the monsters stand out a bit more because it felt like a lot was working against me when I couldnt see them. It was a good touch that the player turns read though but I would have liked to have taken damage bc i was too slow to react

The idea is so great and cool! The art especially the image is really good! But is there an end because after 9 displays of Farae and defeating a few monsters nothing happend? By the way really good balencing

Developer

Hi Zyphorus! Thanks for playing our game and for the feedback. Answering your question, a final boss was supposed to appear, but due to an unexpected bug he never shows, so the game can't end. I must say congratulations for arriving so far at the game!
