Funny how an unfinished game just makes it looks like a character dancing ^^

How does your game fit the theme?
It is a platformer where you can't directly control the player character, all you can do is lightly influence its movement!

It's a shame you coudn't finish your inital idea, I'd love to play it, seemed quite fun. Still, congrats on finishing the game anyways, I loved the art. To be honest I didn't quite get the colors of the arrows and didn't had to do much to finish the level, but maybe I was really lucky xD
As someone said on the comments below, I think the game would be better without the 3 sec waiting mechanic. Because the player doesn''t really have the control it can be a bit boring waitig those 3 seconds. If not, some kind of reminder of when you have the power and when not would be nice too!
thanks! <3 yeah, but at least we could share the main idea of the mechanic, ... hehehehe
the colors were plae holders for the arrows, and we forgot to remove it, but basically the red color was the "next move", and the green supposed to be a jump, when we didn't yet decided to add diagonal arrows for that, :)))
I agree with the cooldown, maybe it made sense in our heads after implementing all the other ideas, but on the main mechanic, it is really a bad thing :P
Hopefully next time, you'll be able to implement all your ideas. I really liked your art though.
I really enjoyed the art for this game. Its a shame that you guys didn't manage to finish it because I would like to see where this concept goes.
I will however say, that the movement and input mechanics in their current state, is encumbersome at best. Essentially I was waiting for luck to get me to the goal. A big part of why, is the unnecessary wait time of 3 seconds between space bar presses. If that was just removed, then the whole experience would be far more playable.
Influencing the movement through the environment is a really cool idea, sorry it didn't turn out the way you intended , it is hardwith such little time. The art is amazing though. And I got to the end of the level ^^
I made him walk to the other end, am so smart.
bcool game. The UI and movement in general was kinda jenk but oh well.
thanks!! <3
we had some trouble with the time (who hasn't, right? xD), so all the color changes were placeholders for some future effect, just to show that you are into the "reverse" effect.
and we have some problems with the collisions, so the character get stuck more often that we wanted...
the main idea is to watch the move queue, and when you think is a bad sequence, you inverse so it becomes a good sequence, and so on.. xD
