It's a fun little game. Well done.

A clever way to adhere to the theme. I like the simplicity of the game and it was fun to play. Great job all around.

Submitted

Simple, but good game idea.

The score's a little unbalanced (I feel like you should get more points for killing the viruses), but I had a blast! Definitely something you could build upon in the future.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. Glad you enjoyed it ^_^

Good entry that fits the theme. nice job!

Good game. The limited control you have, could be a little bigger, but still nice. When I once avoided a mine by milimiters due to my shot it was very satisfying. Also even though it gets out of control, the fact that all mines dissapear when you get hit, ensures that you don't just get unlucky and lose, very cool

Developer

Thanks for playing and giving feedbacks

Those are not mines however... those are viruses XD

cool way to implement the theme into the game, the art also looks good, good job!

I like the fact that shooting pushed you in a direction.  I think that could have been expanded upon to have more ways to affect your movement without relying on the whims of RNG

Developer

I guess looking back I should've made the knockbacks slightly stronger so that the player has a li'l bit more control. I realized that when the engine's power is strong (I randomize the tank's direction and its engine power), no amount of shooting can counteract that well.

Thanks for playing!

I like how taking the movement out of the player's hands made this feel like a tower defense game on the move. Really fun and could definitely be fleshed out!

Developer

Wow it feels like a Tower Defense game on the move? A very interesting take

Really it was too bad idk how to balance the game. I simply randomly spawn enemies and items somewhere of a certain radius from the player; and thanks to that mechanics they tend to clump if the player wanders around the same place

This was pretty fun! Having the seemingly random changes in direction made it pretty difficult to avoid the mines sometimes, and the increased knock-back from charging the cannon increased complexity in an enjoyable way. The low res visuals and checkerboard track reminded me of playing the Micro Machines racing game on NES when I was a young.

Developer

Haha thanks for playing!

The enemies are not mines btw... those are the things that are making everyone on the planet miserable for the past few months or so
