Once I figured out I could spawn as many mines as I wanted and the explosions would chain I promptly broke your game with the biggest explosion I could make. 10/10.

Developer

Haha, awesome! Originally mines didn't trigger each other but I added that after overwhelming playtester feedback :P

During the first minutes, I found the game rather unplayable (notably because there is no air control). But at some point I understood how to plan my move, place mines where they are needed and hope for the best. And when I found my soulmate robot, I was sad the game was over.

(I still think that a bit of air control would be useful, though)

I really enjoyed your game and it fits perfectly the theme.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! To some extent it's intentional that there's no air control, since that's one of the ways it fits the theme. But it is helpful to hear where players had trouble, since as the developer it's easy to forget that what feels intuitive to me might not be intuitive to a first time player.

Such a great mechanic and game, really nice level design too!

The wall jumping with the mines is soooo satisfying!!! only complaint is that larger jumps are very hard to judge, including just a little bit of air control while spinning around might have been a good idea, but I had a lot of fun with this!

Developer

Thanks, glad you liked it! The initial image I had that inspired me to make this game was a robot bouncing off of exploding walls, so I'm happy that carried over to the final result. Air control is something I thought about, and if I were to make this a full-length game with tighter controls I might add that, though it would be less on-theme for "out of control".

Really great. Fits the theme, lots of fun to play, could easily be expanded into a really nice platformer with some work (similar to the Plague Knight campaign in Shovel Knight)

Thanks, glad you liked the movement :)

Had lot of fun playing this! Original and good take on the theme, with a very polished implementation. Spotted a few easter eggs too but I couldn't quite reach them. Nice work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I can only think of one easter egg I added and it's purely visual, so I don't think you missed anything.

A little weird how the robot rotate when it explodes, but overrall is a decent game.

Loved this game so much. Unique and just the right amount of challenging. I think it might just be addictive

Developer

Thanks, that's great to hear :)

Hey my brother in 1-bit arms... Nice concept and execution. Took a minute to get the hang of it while using a laptop mousepad, but it's fun!

Developer

Thanks! Nice work doing it with a trackpad, I'm not sure I could manage that :P
