I really like the concept! I had a hard time understanding where I was trying to go though. Maybe some kind of indicator of which direction to go in might be helpful for players. Great job though, I liked the music a lot!

Nice idea! I would have loved a mechanic to help you when a path is closing in on you. Seeing a clear path slowly closing and having to turn around to find another one was quite frustrating xD

I really enjoyed watching the walls move, it's very relaxing. The yellow block and the orange walls are too close in colour. I got stuck in walls and the game crashed after a few minutes of playing.

Developer

Thanks. Next time I will  think a bit more about the colours. And try to make it so it doesn't crash. 😂

It's a pretty good game with a nice feeling and music. I liked it, although it needs a bit more sense of accomplishment when finishing a maze. Overall, nice job for a first game jam game :)

I'm very impressed with the music and the aesthetic. Definitely a very confounding experience. Pretty damn good for a first attempt!

Developer

Thankyou :)

I like the concept overall, but I got stuck in the walls quite a few times. I'm not sure if that was intentional.

I'm not really a fan of the morphing maze as it feels unfair and lacking in strategy.  I got pretty far until I got stuck in a block but didn't really feel much sense of progress of accomplishment.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I will  try to  keep it in mind for my next jam.

I really enjoyed how the maze moves, it was super trippy! Made even more so by the psychadelic music! Waiting for the blocks to randomly change though was quite annoying and took away from the overall fun. Good toy to play around with though!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. Maybe I will keep working on it.

The morphing effects looked great but it's sort of frustrating how little agency the player has. (But then again, the maze is out of control)

Great game! I played it for 5minutes then it crashed tho. but nice! :P

Developer

I did realise it would eventually crash. However, I never expected anyone to be playing it for that long. So thank you. :)

Great concept with pretty good execution. Only problem i encountered was getting stuck in a block and just having to wait. But with a bit more method to the madness, this could become a really great game. Good job!

Yea I totally agree, this could make for a really interesting casual mobile game!.

am picturing that each section of mace is a level so to speak.

Got Trapped several times. LOVED IT. Great idea! The camera is a bit wonky but you get used to it. 9/10.

Developer

Your game is great too

I loved the concept of your game, I’ve never seen it before, I only have one review, sometimes the player gets stuck inside the maze wall. If you can watch my game and vote I would appreciate it.

Developer(+2)

Sure thing! I noticed that glitch. But I am 14 and wasn't allowed to stay up till 5am AEST when the game jam finished.
