A true power move, to hold the player hostage like this. I definitely laughed.

How much control did i have? little. How much patience did i have.... little... hahahahaha. It was a good laugh :)
I had no control in this situation, i just had to watch it all. Good job.
Laughed right from start, almost to the end. I just wish the music had gone crazier with time, but still, that was great!
Wow this is great, what makes it even greater is that you used pre existing audio. I like to think that this took you the entire jam and you didn't have time to make a song anymore.
Absolutely hilarious! This is a concept that is funny just describing it: "There was this one game in the jam that made you sit through a child's recital by holding down space bar" hahaha well done. Curious: I saw in the previous comments you generated the music? is this something you did in the game engine itself?
Also here's the game I did audio for if you wanted to check it out, thanks! https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2020/rate/696287#post-1639104
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! I made this game in Scratch, which has some instrument sounds built in. The "music" is basically random notes that are somewhat close to each other with a larger jump here and there. It's not exactly sophisticated, it just added to the "sub-par child recital" feel I was going for.
I thought I was being funny with my flappy derpy mouth game. But here comes indigoninja, 1 entire day before the deadline and makes something funnier than I could have dreamed of. To you sir, madam or other, I take my hat off.
Totally get that the challenge is how long you can hold the spacebar, but it makes it kind of inaccessible for certain machines or, potentially for people with certain motor disabilities. The lack of variety is a factor there too. If you go further with it, maybe have it be kind of a "simon says" type thing? So the button you have to hold/release changes periodically?
