This is such a great concept, but it could use some refinement.  Something I'd recommend is having the nun move faster than you can.  As it is, you can outrun her pretty easily, almost eliminating the need for stealth.

But great work for a weekend jam game!  I'd love to see it expanded on! =)

Developer

A bunch of features that haven't made it would've made faster-than-player nun an absolute joy to play against :) I will be returning to this idea some time later though! Thanks for playing :)

an understandably broken game but with a great idea, with some polish and a few more levels you'll have something really good.

Developer

That will be the plan :)

Is there only one level to the entire game? I'm clicking the top arrow but it doesn't do anything. All I can do is play the same level over and over and the cookies location changes to just two different rooms. That's not all, when I go to play the game again on the web page the game doesn't start when I click the play button?

I'm sorry but it doesn't feel like much of a game here. It is too easy to avoid the nun even when she sees you. Also I didn't see much reason to switch perspectives because I can avoid the nun super easily. Also I think the nun launched me into the air and I skipped most of the level or something.

The only positive I see here is the music and that is it.

I know I sound really negative but I just want to help address a few issues so the game could be better in the future.

I'm well aware that the build is botched, the feature set is incomplete, and what little made it into the game successfully could use a couple days of fine-tuning :) All fair points. That's 48 hour jam for you. But hey, thanks for playing!

The game feels a bit broken, but the music is really cool.

Thank you so much :)

I like how the music speeds up, and I enjoyed THE NUN chasing, great game, goodluck!

Developer

thanks so much mate!

Fun little game, the guard seemed a little buggy. Keep up the good work 👍

Nice entry ! I dig the music !

Developer

thank you so much :)

This is a very humorous game! The guard funnily glitched about in place when it's about to close on the player, but it still felt funny and in tone with the game. It did take me a long time to notice that the controls were like that of controlling a car or vehicle rather than just straight directions.

Thank you for your feedback! Glad you had fun playing it :)

i always wondered what it's like to have no parents and crave some cookies

Developer

And now you know, at least a little bit :) Thanks for playing!

Hey, nice concept! And actually, very nice menu UI! The cooldown between changing view/movement mode could have used some indication. I would also suggest to write controls on the itch page, for stupid people like me who can't read what is on the screen.

Developer

Audio dude here - thank you for the feedback. :)

I didn't really find the door to the next level and the guard walking around also bugged something or there was no game over screen. But a nice idea, good work!

Thank you so much for the feedback! :)

Developer

Unfortunately, last minute fixes led to a fairly broken build (as they always do) :D Thanks for playing!
