Not bad! The controls did feel a bit clunky to me.

Pretty nice blend of tile based movement and pure action platform, i gotta say this concept is cool but it really shines whith the implementation of the wall jump, which can be a bit tricky to figure out at first, but once you get the hang of it it's really fun. I'd just say some parts can get a little bit tedious with the grid based movement, maybe tweaking the level design accordingly could improve things a bit.

Other than that the game design feels solid, I really liked the graphics and that bassey genesis like tune you have :) overall i had quite some fun !

Congrats ^^

I really like how precise this is for walljumping.

I think it was an interesting idea to combine moving and combat in to only one mechanic, but they often felt quite disjointed - I was either fighting or platforming. It would be cool to see challenges involving both (although the controls might need to me made a little more predictable for that).

Hey thanks for playing our game. We appreciate the honest feedback. We would have liked to develop the concept further but ran out of time. Hope you had fun slashing about anyway!

Cool take, but the inability to make small adjustments in position was quite frustrating, though. Maybe a little bit of level tweaking or control tweaking could help.

Thanks for playing! We would definitely like to make a few gameplay tweaks that we didn't have time for. We will probably release a post-jam version that plays a little smoother. Thank you for the feedback!

Interesting design, it's tricky to do fine movements because of the fixed distance the player seems to travel, but overall a cool take on the theme

The game has a nice concept, I was legitimately confused at first and I got the hang of it everything went smoothly! It was a bit hard still (and the screen was way too big) but I really enjoyed it.

The controls are a bit clanky and it's hard to predict exactly the movements of the character but overall it's a quite enjoyable experience.
