I really like this idea, and how well it was implemented. In my opinion, the time limit adds pressure to a simple game, and that's good for this game with not so many options, but it would limit how complex your decisions can be , if you want to expand this game further. Some random ideas:

  • Bow and arrow to attack enemies ahead on the line.
  • Enemies (and probably a necromancer) that resurrects and chases you (maybe even from a previous line).
  • Shield to "block" attacks (which in reality would subtract from their hit points).

This is really well made and I really enjoyed playing this one.

Nice and creative interpretation of the theme! The mechanic is flawless as far as I can tell but could be a bit batter balanced. BUT I had fun playing it  (it's kind of addictive :D). So, overall a great entry especially for a work of only 2 days. Keep it up!!!!

I have no words! A hidden gem! Everything from the artstyle to the gameplay is awesome. I liked how you added a timer so we have to make fast decisions and how you let us choose how to spend the time, with chests (very good design).

I have nothing more to say. I just enjoyed this so much, I hope you expand this and released this as a full game!

Yay I beat it :) I love the interpretation of the theme. The time meter keeps you on toes, and rewards and enemies are quite well balanced, so it takes a time to figure out what to do when and then do it on autopilot. Very captivating, well done!

This is really creative and fun! I could see this being expanded in a lot of cool ways (decisions like in Slay the Spire, boss fights, etc). Maybe I'm too slow of a reader but I had to die a few times just so I had enough time to read the descriptions for each encounter type, maybe some sort of more formalized tutorial/glossary type thing?

One of the best entries so far. Too bad it's not that close to the theme.

Really interesting mechanic as it turns the roguelike turn-based game into a strategy game. Could use some quality-of-life fixes (like spacebar to quickly go to the next thing, for example) but overall a really good idea.

Really fun game and unique idea! Can see this one getting really addictive really quickly...
