Nice entry here.  It was easy to grasp and play, one hero that can be controlled only by mouse. I felt like the camera was working against me, as one could get more speed the further the player is from the pointer, yet it made the player closer by focusing on what was behind the player not what was in front of him (I hope that made sense). Keep it up!

Liking the concept especially how you can deal with multiple threats when their areas overlap. The controls weren'T perfect, sometimes my hero just stopped at one point then after moving the mouse a little they could continue flying, and also the cursos is really hard to see sometimes.

Very cool design!  And love the color aesthetics, everything is clear and pops, great job.  Has a retro but still modern feel.  Neat game.  Please try my entry if you have time. Good day!

I always seem to really like games using the red and black color scheme! Loved the artwork for this and the gameplay was pretty unique as well. Felt good to play. I can absolutely see what you were going for and I think if you were to polish this up a bit it would make for a pretty awesome full game! Great submission!

Would love if you could check mine out too! Or not, no pressure ;) https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2019/rate/462672?after=20#post-876644

Thanks for taking the time to play and leave your thoughts! May polish it up and see what it could be with a bit more time in the bank.

I don't have a PC and so I can't play your game =(. I followed you, and will try to test you out on a friend of mine's machine if I can get access to it.

Wow, I really liked this one! The 3 colour pallet is  very pleasing to the eyes, the core mechanic and the theme are also really interesting (also the animation our little superhero is amazing).

Thanks for the kind words! I am super happy with how his cape came out.

It looks very nice and you communicate everything important to the player very well. Although I think it could benefit from a dynamic camera. It could zoom out if you have to fly larger distances and zoom in if you have to fight.

It's a nice entry and if you could fix some flaws which Team Spaghetti pointed out it would be pretty cool game :) But however, well done! :)

That is a pretty cool idea with the camera! I wanted to have enemy animations and fight animations, but just wasn't able to squeeze it in. Thanks for playing my game!

Sure! Yeah, the time window of two days is very tight.

Hands down one of my favorite concepts marred by just a couple little design missteps.

I love the superhero theming, I love the simplicity of the core loop, this could be prime time-waster material. It falls short a little bit in the controls.

The mouse isn't constrained, meaning that while my in-game cursor stayed put and behaved, my real cursor could go any which way it pleased, often to the detriment of my little superman. I suspect this is the culprit of the occasionally-dodgy edge scrolling I was experiencing, though I can't be 100% certain.

The other main movement issue I had was that the in-game cursor was tiny and hard to pick out from the background, making keeping my mouse in the game in the first place a chore. Making this easier to spot while gameplay was at peak hectic would go a long way towards improving the playability of the game as a whole.

Don't get me wrong, I pick on these things out of appreciation; there's potential here and I'd be super jazzed to see a more polished version out there in the wild somewhere.

Thanks Spaghetti! I really appreciate you taking the time not only to play my game, but to share your thoughts.

I am a Graphic Designer by trade and as you may have guessed new to game development. I sincerely appreciate the constructive criticism and will definitely be reading up more about some of the technical challenges, touched on here.
