It was really short, and the UI didn't scale well so I didn't see the visual indicators for what buttons to press at the bottom of the screen. Once I figured it out, it was also kinda finicky, and I wasn't sure I was doing it right, but I did win!

Visuals were good though, and I love the funky vibes!

Mmm have not understood how it works. Pressing buttons randomly was my way. But anyway visually seems good ^^ Gj

Really nice visuals and audio though lacking in gameplay department.

Some feedback when you hit buttons correctly would have been nice, can use it to do more/less damage on how sucsesfull inputs are.

Thanks for all the comments! I appreciate the positive feedback and all the problems you guys have brought up. A lot of the problems being brought up are things we wanted to work on, but ran out of time for. We barely finished in time, and we plan on trying to address them. We have a lot of tuning to do on the rhythm system, mainly making the timing be more natural and communicating it better. We really wanted to add a dodge move and have you start your turn to the beat to work with the 'dont stop' theme of the jam, but we need to work out the rhythm issues first.

For those of you that liked this game, give us a follow, we plan on having an update out in a week or two.

I like it, fun game!

I really like the idea of mixing rithm game with turn based combat, it's shame the game is so short and doesn't really explore the premise. The aesthetic is definetly very unique and cool, the rothoscopy look makes it feel even goofier. The music is also great, but I would have liked to see more sound effects based on the spell you used. The most lacking part of the game is the feel and juice, it feels a bit unresponsive at times.

I had quite a lot of fun playing this, good job!!

A very charming game, but it leaves much to be desired. My main problem is that it's hard to really tell what's going on. The music is great, but the sound effects are barely audible. I also don't really see how it fits the theme.

Keep up the good work!

This game grooooves!!

I had a hard time getting used to the controls, the UI is not really clear about which keys have to be pressed at which time...

However the concept is really cool! Having a mage dance to cast spell is a good idea, with more polish it could be crazy! =p

Kudos to the music, its really great!

Nice idea and good job!

Music is great. It lacks polish on combat like something that indicates you that you actually did a good job and also some time before you have to start clicking to process in mind what you actually have to click in what order

Adding the feedback on the notes would've been great we just didnt have the time :( we tried to do something different where instead of relying on visuals to tell you when to hit the buttons, you had to really listen and get in rhythm with the song (which admittedly may not be the best approach for a rhythm game lol)

Groovy ! Music is great, graphics at cool, the animations are top notch, but I'm not sure I understood how controls work, there is a lack of feedback on the input, you don't really know if they are registered or not. And it is too short to really have the time to appreciate the combat system. Add more stuff, I'd love to see a full game in this style !

Very good Audio and Visual! Love playing (and making) rhytm games) I think it lacks the feeling of you pressing something at correct time or make mistakes. Some indicator or more effects would be cool.

Thanks! We have never done a rhythm game before, and we tried to be procedural with how the input lined up with the rhythm which led to a lot of timing issues.

Yeah, timing is the hardest thing to do in rhytm games. It should be super precise or it feels weird. I'm working on Rhytm TDS now and feel your pain)

The music was sick and the game was juicy at the least. I loved the game. Since this was a jam game I understand why the game was so short. Loved the work !!

Very nice primary gameplay loop! Could definetly see this as being a battle esystem for a larger game.

the deal is done, this is so out of nowhere🤣

the juice is oozing out of this game. The game idea is awesome. I'd love to play more levels.
The visuals and music are on point!
