Nice game. A title screen would be good idea, game starts a bit promptly. Love the end of the level animation.

Wonderful idea. Didn't like the out-of-mana sound and it wasn't clear how coins = mana, but it looks unique and a solid idea.

this is the best game ive played so far in this jam

the sounds are tasty

the animation is smooth

the juice is exquisite

you did really good job!!! this really feels like a steam release game (obviously would need lot more content but yeah!)

Love the art style, tutorial could be useful also if player is aiming with mouse he should have alternative button option to fire using mouse. P.S. You did it by yourself during jam? if so than this is even more impressive

Pretty neat. I like the different types of wands you can have. The gameplay loop in my opinion is pretty well design and simple. I really like it. The only downside is that I can't understand why resolution is so small. It could be way better if it could be bigger, even if pixelated.

Thank you for your feedback, glad you liked it.
You can switch fullscreen mode by pressing "F" anytime - it is highly recommended for better experience)

The visuals are great. The gameplay feels kind of sloppy with all the hitstop, and I think it's easier to shoot with a mouse click.

Great game though!

Great presentation: the art in particular was really nice!  Interesting weapon variety, and the movement felt good in general.

With that, there were two things I really feel need to be changed:

1.  As others have said: set attacking to the mouse button.

2. The hitstop is way too much.  It really makes the game feel really stuttery - especially if you have a wand that can hit multiple enemies at close intervals.  Use it on the critical hits only imo - this way it creates impact and weight to those.  This has been a super common things with the games in the jam using hitstop I've noticed.  I think it's a juice element that has to be very subtle and used very specifically to be done right.

I want to emphasize: this game had a TON of charm and I really enjoyed it.  I feel that if you fixed those two issues, this game would be very addictive in that Binding of Isaac kind of way.    Awesome job!

I like the art style, it remembers me of those old flash games. Have a good jam!

The style is really amazing! Woudl be greate to be able to keep all the wand and to be able to choose the wand based on the level you are gonna face! Really nice work!

I love how everything is hand drawn, its gives the game this really fluid feel to it

very cool! I adore this games art style, its consistent and works well.
juice is great, especially the crit with the flash and satisfying sound effect.

is there a reason I cant shoot with the mouse as well? It felt unnatural to use the space bar.

another thing  - when firing the blue wand, because the bullet starts from the tip of the wand, sometimes it gets stuck on the wall above you while shooting, If you are planning to continue work on the game you should look into that.

great polished game, I had a lot of fun.

Well done!

The art style is really unique and reminded me of old flash games. The game loop is very satisfying.

As others have said, it would be awesome if you could shoot with left mouse button.

I also found the fog around the screen a little bit annoying after a while.

Took me a minute to figure out, and the mechanic is interesting. The ambition is obvious, everything looks, sounds and feels really juicy.

Gotta say, the spacebar-mouse combo is a little strange for a control scheme. It could have worked if the direction of fire was more obvious, like changing which way the fellas faces to fit the mouse position.

Really cool, surprisingly brutal!

Very enjoyable. Managed to beat the first boss but died at like stage 9.

Neat visuals and good sound effects, except for the sound when the player is out of mana which was a bit annoying feeling like someone is constantly breathing into my headphones. Maybe it is meant to be that way to make me stop spamming the attack button like an idiot =D.

The game is super polished and fun nonetheless, and having a variety of weapons is very nice. Well done.

Cool! The animations are great, and the game feel juicy (I especialy like the kill effect). I think that there should be a bit more feedback for when the player actualy shoots. Well done!
