I’m aware that the difficulty of the game is extremely high, you’re not the only one who finds the game difficult. Some people who’ve played the game nearly died instantly, so don’t worry about it that much, lol. I’ll definitely fix the difficulty problem when I’ll update the game.

haha yeah, you quite literally become a god if you play for long enough! An easy fix would be making the enemies more powerful every wave instead of only increasing the number. As for getting stuck on the white blocks, that’s a weird bug that I haven’t been able to fix in time :(

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! I like the idea of skipping the turn of defeated enemies, but I didn’t give myself enough time to do that. However, I think I know how to changing this. Will definitely fix this if I ever update the game!

And now that i think about it, making the flooring darker for the background would’ve added more to the neon vibe.. I’ll definitely do that that if I update the game!

In the rules of the jam, one of the rules state that the game’s content has to stay clean: “No NSFW content, offensive content, excessive gore/violence.” Therefore, I was wondering if dark themes were allowed in the jam? Because the idea I have for this jam is basically a small horror game that has some pretty dark themes, which involves someone’s death (it’s only mentioned in game, not explicitly shown). I don’t want to assume that my idea is allowed simply because the rules didn’t mention it, which is why I’m posting this topic. 

TL;DR: Would dark themes, like mentioning the death of a (fictional) character, break the rules of the jam or would it be allowed?

I’d like to know if it does break the rules before the jam starts, so I can change ideas as quickly as possible.

Thank you so much for playing! To fix the problem with the enemies spawning on you, I could add a little spawning animation that would play to indicate where the enemies spawn. Would that be a good fix? And the movement being a bit slow was intentional, because one of the upgrades you can get after each wave is upgrading the tank’s speed. However, it seems that I might’ve made it too slow, so whoops, haha. Anyways, glad to hear that you enjoyed the game!

Yeah, the enemies going under the obstacles was not intentional. I’ve tried to fix it, but the AI would start doing weird stuff when colliding with the walls. While it was unintentional, let’s just pretend that the tanks just use the walls as a way to take cover, lol. Other than that, thank you so much for playing and I’m glad to hear that you liked it!

Amazing game, especially since it was made in so little time!! Could use some minor tweaks, like making the game controls more obvious, like the dash ability, but other than that, no major changes needed!

Amazing game! Great visuals, nice controls, and over-all an awesome experience! Only thing is that the game doesn't showcase that well the controls. For example, I didn't you could dash with "Shift" until I checked the game page itself. Other than that, great game! Could use some minor tweaks, but no major changes needed!

Amazing concept. The idea could've been expanded more but for a 3 day long game jam? Great use of this mechanic.

There is a level select screen when you complete the tutorial. and in case you haven't noticed, dying in the game lets you go to the next level. I can understand the is a bit confusing, but I'm glad you enjoyed it!

simple and relaxing game. The goal of the game is to help you relax and it does that very well. Would've been cool if there was a proper ending however.

Cool game! Nice visuals and fun to play. 

Really good game. It's satisfying to kill the enemies and the variety of files you can destroy is pretty good. Maybe make the music notes stun you for a bit longer could help with balance.
