I really liked the look of this game. It was cohesive in a wild kind of way. The weapons were all fun to mess with. Nice work!

Highscore: 2200

This game really needs some sfx to liven it up. Everything else I was fine with, this is the only change that would elevate the whole game. Just look up little generators online, click, add bam! More juice to the game!

I liked the weapon/pickup variety, the base weapon could use a little range upgrade to deal with the pesky fliers.

Overall nice entry, just needs a little more love.

I think I found the sound issue. If you play on GX games you have to enable sound on chrome. GX is Gamemaker's game hosting site.

Had a lot of fun with this one! Weapons had a nice variety, but I wish they spawned a bit more often. Same for the health pickup, as I've only got it once in my couple of runs.

Good job overall!!

Thanks for playing. The drops are set for weighted chances, I should have done a drop timer instead to help the randomness. Thanks for the feedback.

i see.. i think a mix between weighted chances and a timer would work well. Maybe a weapon is more likely to appear the more enemies you kill? Just an idea, though!

Nice effects and sounds,  juicy combat, made it once to the second level and 3000 of high score. Would like to see an update with better enemy animations)

Had some fun with this one! Satisfying power-ups and visuals. Well done with this one! Really reminds of the OG Defender which was my favorite game as a kid. Only managed a high-score of 2500~ Will try again later for a higher score!
