Did you use any third-party assets or skeleton code?
I made a tree and a plant I made for another jam, I used free sounds. ALL code made during the jam, besides a toon shader and pixel shader from a tutorial(which Ill add to the credits). Music at the start by me, I used someone else's car model(in credits)

I really like the pixelated art style. The game and gameplay is surely simplistic but that is more of a strength than a weakness.
A perfect mix of art, simple controls, music in a mystical environment with some nice puzzles for the player to solve.
Very nice game. Great visual, must have taken a lot of time to create them. Also as an adventure game outstanding in this jam.
Gotta be the best game in here.
Very nice visual. I really like 3D stylized pixel art. Cool attention to detail (physics of bushes, footprints). Very good job.
I think this game is short, but amazing. I enjoyed looking at the visuals. The clues were fair, though the last clue kinda took me a while to solve because I didnt carefully read the question but thats just me not being super smart. The music on the ending was super fitting lmao.
good game overall, great job!
Really short but interesting game.
Loved the visual style and teh whole ambiance. good job !
Thanks a lot!
nice aesthetic and atmosphere but I found the downsampling was making a lot of the text hard to read. Polished point and click aesthetically and mechanically (except for the pathfinding or lack thereof)
I had some difficulty reading the text for the letters but otherwise the style was really nice.
Thanks for playing! If you mean the text in the mailbox I purposefully blurred some to avoid red herring. Thanks for the feedback
Really good presentation! I had a couple issues with things staying on the screen after I had walked away from them. But overall, it was a cool little narrative experience. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for playing!
I assume you mean the paper staying on screen, or the mailbox?
yeah exactly. I'd examine something, like the calendar or a piece of mail, and then try to walk away and it would stay on the screen for a while as I was walking around
Great submission! I saw you post about it in discord and wanted to try it out

Also, idk if the title card at the start is a reference to Maddy Makes Games, but I love them and their games so I like that little nod to them :)
Thanks a lot for playing and the feedback!
Trial and error is a staple of point and click games, and I agree you need to be in the right mood to play it. I sped up the walk animation and speed of the player to try to minimize the slow pace, but I wanted an emphasis on exploring the Hawaiian landscape. If I had had more time I would definitely add shortcuts to minimize this feeling. Thanks for the feedback
That makes sense, its not really a genre of games I’m super familiar with. Regardless I thought it was really well made!
I appreciate it!
This project is really cool visually, the audio is great too!
awesome submission guys, handles well and really uniquely retro.
Very kind of you! I enjoyed your team's game a lot
Thx for this nice little game.
I like this kind of game, so it was very fun to play it. The end surprised me.
I first go up, and when I come back, I was a little stuck behind the trees. Because there is no path finding and I directly clicked on the right.
Good work.
Thank you! There is pathfinding but I screwed something up on the final build that made it less intelligent somehow. I appreciate the feedback nonetheless
I really like the artstyle, it really fit along with the puzzle gameplay. Didnt expect the ending at all. The mouse pointer was satisfying to just moving it across the screen
There was a bug where the game shutdown after shooting the brother instead of returning back to the car. But overall nice and fun game
Really kind words, thank you!
Do you remember if the game just shutdown or if the crash handler appeared?
it appear with a crash message before shutting down
Hey, Wonderful game!
Positive: The game's art style is really unique and I especially love the different perspectives. The mystery is there and satisfying to solve problems. Also was juicy! Also, admire how you manage to make all this art.
Negative: The game suffers for some pacing, I don't mean it in a game progression way, that was is ace, I mean it generally in terms of the time it lacks leading you to some moments of awkward waiting, but that's all my negatives for the game, GREAT JOB!
Thank you so much! if I'd have known I wouldn't have had time to add more areas in those rooms I would have cut some out. I appreciate the feedback
Nice art style and music but a little blurry in fullscreen. And what confused me is that when I first played the game,I can open the door by the code in mailbox but when I played again the door just didn't open even the code did not change. And I wonder how to get in house.I clicked the name "David' but there was no response.
Thanks! The code is always the same on both of the things. The second on the left is the first name, and on the right is the second. Thanks for the feedback!
Oh.I see.I should enter the full name.Thank you for answering!
Enjoyed playing through this game! The art style was really pleasing and mixed with the music it felt very relaxed to play.
Very cool to hear, thanks for playing
A short, pleasant experience. Loved the artstyle head-on, the music changing as the climax neared was a nice touch.
I appreciate it!
This game has a very lovely atmosphere and vibe that makes the puzzle solving quite a soothing experience. Nice ending as well :p . And the lovely music completing the overall vibe.
Thanks a ton!
