This was a really unique concept. It plays very smoothly and is easy to get a hang of. Great job, are you planning on expanding this after the jam? I think my kids would love this with some music and sound effects.

How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
In Creepy Crows you play as a scarecrow collecting ghost seed to plant and harvest cursed crops, all while defending your sprouts from a murder of annoying crows

Cool idea for a platformer. Plays really well and feels polished already. The color palette swap for day and night works great too.
The sprites look nice, I'm not sure I'd call it spooky but thats alright.
It is obviously missing SFX and music, which you should definitely add later on. Besides that it's a great jam entry!
First time around, I think i jumped over a trigger, because kept going right and then I fell off the stage!
But then I took it a bit more slowly, and I found the game!
And it was an enjoyable game! I can really tell you had grand plans! What you did get together was fun to play, and it looked real pretty too. Add some music and some SFX and you've got a great game, i think!
Addictive gameplay loop! Would love to have some sfx and music and some sort of leveling system
Looking forward to play this with music, eventually. This is a very solid start!
neat game. although the lack of audio makes the game feel kinda empty. the gameplay and graphics makes up for it
Controls are great, I like the mix of having to plant and defend , and I liked it to be an action game with different movements. It was a bit chaotic how to defeat the crows but in general was enjoyable to play. Love the day/night color cycle and the palettes you selected. I also missed having some sound effects and/or bg music.
Solid gameplay loop and visuals on this entry! The art style is probably the games strongest suit. The lack of audio knocks it down a couple points though.
Hey, thank you so much.
I've managed to implement coyote time, jump buffer, "head bump avoidance" and the "megaman jump" (the one that is cut short if you release the button earlier). I feel that this kind of thing really improves platforming around.
Here's a video for reference, but I suspect you're already familiar with all that:
So far, my favorite game of the Jam. A beautiful game with creative and fun gameplay. I really liked the idea, the day and night cycle, and a great choice of color palette, especially switching the palette to show day/night.
I only encountered a bug where I managed to jump out of the scene, but other than that, I found it to be one of the most well-polished games of the Jam. Congratulations!!! The character design is beautiful.
Simple but fun concept and fun to play, it is a shame there's no sfx or music, it does make for an empty feeling atmosphere, but the art and animations are Top notch!
Plays very smoothly and looks pleasant! Feels like a finished mobile game. Great job!
Really cool and extremely polished, especially for a single person. Very well done!
