Tilting Table!! I love these types of games! Too fun! and great use of the theme. Great job!
I really liked the idea of this game! It wasn't too difficult although it felt a bit repetitive with all the magic essence constantly spawning back. The audio also got a bit repetitive too. The mechanics felt nice though, and it was enjoyable. Well done!
I was just thinking about making a tilt maze type game. Well done! I only got 30 magic, but had fun playing.
Great ideas in this, loved the portals and was really easy to get into. Really needs more UI to help work out stuff but this is a solid game jam entry.
Was really easy to pick up and start playing. The controls were intuitive. On my very first play I got stuck in some trees right near the spawn point and was unable to move which required a page refresh. I also think that it's a bit difficult to tell when the table is level. Perhaps some UI indications could help with this? Sound effects were great and added to the experience.
Thanks for the feedback!
It's a great concept and I liked the game play. One suggestion I've got is to make the magic essense you collect not respawn as it's too easy just to sit next to a spawn and collect it repeatedly. If the player had to collect every collectable on the map it would make the gameplay more challenging and interesting. Nice submission!
I really love the design of the town and the gameplay of moving the table to get the ball where you want it. I do think, however, that the holes suck you in a bit too powerfully
Nice concept and well done implementing it! Looks pretty nice especially those portals. I kinda wish the gravity was higher, it felt a bit too slow especially when I wanted to go around the map. Also, I think the collectables respawning ruins it in a sense since there's no reason to go around and no sense of completing. Otherwise great work!
Thank you.
That's fair :)
Hey, this was a fun game. I was able to just stay near one of the spawners and rack up a bunch of points, which felt cheaty, but otherwise the game looked really good and the ball physics were reliable. Tilting the table felt good and easy to maneuver. Go ahead and check out my game submission for the Jam. It's minigolf on planets, let me know what you think.
Thanks :)
Yes, I increased the delay on them because my son was doing that. The portals are supposed to expand over time and suck you in, but it needed more playtesting to get it right.
I loved your game, was the first I played
