Nice concept. I liked the idea of turn based movement and the footprints helped sell it. The cat swarm was a fun touch. Water mechanic worked well. A solid jam entry with potential
Thank you for the game. An interesting concept with the turn based movement.
I need to feed my cats!
The turnbased movementsystem is a good idea, but between them it was no animation. But it is not a big ptoblem, because with thoose footprints, there is the illusion of movements.
The world generation was also exceptionally good and you put a big ammount of different game mechanic in the game. The attraction of the food is just not worked for me, but the water was purrfect...
Good job!
Check my game and rate if you have time.
Have FUN :3
Enjoyed this one - very cool submission! Love the originality and unique ideas. Control scheme confused me a bit at first but I figured it out.
Funny story, the swarm of cats following me was cool. I like the reference to the pink donut. The cat models look really cool. I had some issues with movement and could not go down with S but could go left right and up. Not sure if this is a bug but it stopped me from finding the cat even if I knew where it was.
Thanks for playing. Could be a bug. Movement system as well as pursuit by AI need a lot of polish and testing even in simple scenario of few randomly placed water pools. I am now thinking between two different possibilities. Either pixel perfect movement but Realtime or chess-like clearly defined turn=based movement system for player and cats with move moves at a time.
Thank you! It was meant to be a turn-based with grid-based movement game (Player and cats take turns to move). But it looks and feels like an action game it seems. Maybe due to 3D graphics or pace. I agree mechanics should be improved or pace changed to slower. Or maybe remake it as a run and hide game
I really like how cute that white cat is. I used the water to flank the cats most of the time. Not sure if I was supposed to do that. lol
