that was a tall order my friend. think about your game (after playing a lot of different games and genres this week) made me realize that adventure games are probably the most difficult (singleplayer) genre to pull off in a gamejam, because their magic really comes from the unique combination of all its different components like puzzles, a world to explore, interesting characters and a narrative and then visuals and audio to bring it all together. you definitely pulled off a lot off that workload and you can see can see the promise of a really cool adventure game that delivers on all of these things. but I think you overscoped on a lot of these categories and making a smaller world and a shorter more contained story might have been a better pick? sorry for rambling. your game gave me quite a bit to think about and so I just did it here :-)

Developer

I agree, that kind of games are harder but I didn't wanted to make a platformer or any classical game as we had 10 days to make it.
To be honnest I took my time and didn't worked that many hours per day, I could do better but I'm not a big fan of crunchy time :p

Nice music and pretty visuals in the main menu. Unfortunately, there’s not much content here. I found three tools, but didn’t receive anything in return :( On the technical side, I really missed the ability to rotate the camera. Congratulations on finishing the project and good luck! :)

PS. The game would benefit a lot from having a Web version. I’ve noticed that many people avoid downloading exe files, which means you’re missing out on a lot of potential players :/

Developer

I couldn't build web version as I used HDRP rendering in unity (more advanced visuals but unable to a web version from it).
I know content is not as rich as I wanted :)

HDRP is a risky choice. Why didn’t you go with URP instead? I don’t see anything in your project that couldn’t be done using URP. HDRP is better left to professional studios — it’s usually more practical to stick with the less demanding URP ;)

I use to work on HDRP projects. we were using it in the last studio I worked on :)

Great soundtrack! The game looks good, and has easy controls, but I was a bit lost after putting out the fire, perhaps some sort of arrow system to point to the next mission would be a bit helpful. Good job though on building the world, looks great :)

Wasn't quite sure what I was supposed to do and some wandered to the end of the game immediately. Otherwise the looks and sounds are nice!

Nice point and click game. the path finding authorized me to go through some building, but great work

Beautiful game, thank you for sharing this with us!

Such a beautiful start! Loved the atmosphere and point-and-click style.  I’m curious to see where the story goes. This could be a gem!

thanks for adding the video :) looks beautiful and the title screen was awesome. looked like you had a basic inventory system working there and some good core elements all working well. congrats

This looked really promising and very beautiful but I had a few issues... there were many times where Elias was obscured by the scenery, being able to change the camera angle would be very useful here. Then after I had found the 3 toolsets for Garrin, he seemed to still keep asking for them and I couldn't figure out what to do next? Sorry I wasn't able to explore more of the game!

You should select tools to use it on Garrin. my original idea was to keeping the camera static like in old point and click games but sure it lack of some polish :)

hey, you may get more reviews if you could add a youtube video? maybe some more screen shots. I only play WebGL games, but I can also give feedback and rate based on your gameplay video if you like. The 1 screenshot you have looks awesome!

As the Game use HDRP's rendering mode in Unity I cannot build for web, but you're right a video would be nice : Gameplay video
