I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game with a unique take on learning. I thought that the sounds and music fit in very well and the aesthetic was nice. My top score was 12100 :).

Great game! I really like the concept of using prime numbers to defeat the enemies. The music and sound were fantastic! I've got to say though, I'm pretty good with math and even I found this to be a bit difficult, but it's probably more a matter of my reaction time. I still had a great time playing though.
Great game! All these shiny particle effects really make you want to try again! Really well put together!
"hey this is simple, just match the numbers with the keys.. wait.. WHAT IS THIS HUGE NUMEBR", almost dies to a panic attack before my brain realised I was supposed to be doing math.
Great tension during boss fights, matched by a change in music! The visual and sound FX for hits was felt impactful! First educational game i played too, really revived my trauma for math from my long-past schooling days.
7/7 will prime again. Solid Entry!
Excellent work! As a developer of EDU games, I can appreciate the mechanics you have used to help students understand prime factorization. The game aesthetics are highly polished, the controls are smooth, and the concepts easy to grasp but hard to master given the time pressure (I got killed in my first game by a '30' because I didn't factorize 6 into 2 * 3 ... and I have a degree in math, lol).
Impressive work on such a short time frame!
Thank you very much for your feedback. I've been gathering as much knowledge I can grasp on how to develop fun games the add value to people. Most educational games I've been in touch with were very boring and gave me a classroom feel, which I don't wanna feel out of a classroom. Please try Lamp unto my feet as well and give me feedback. It's not part of the Game Jam and it's already on Google Play Store. It's a free game with ads that has the objective of been fun and teach biblical words.
Mathmatical!
Good job finishing your game for the jam. I enjoyed it 'cuz I enjoy math. I like the inventive concept. My only nit picks would be it'd be nice if I could have used the number pad or mapped the four numbers onto four keys that were beside each other. I often lost my place on the top row numbers of the keyboard. Also, i felt like the bullets could have travelled a little faster. I'd move my mouse, but the bullet stream would lag behind a little too slowly.
Overall, great game. Keep making more!
This was pretty cool!
At first I was a little intimidated by the quick math needed to break down the bigger numbers, but then I realized the colors of the tentacles were directly related to the prime numbers needed! Very nice little additional feedback there!
Great job!
5 stars for the mechanics (once I read the instructions)
I REALLY like this game, well done.
You should definitely commercialise this idea.
It was a fun mechanic and very good glowing art enjoyed playing it.
Good one! I only got to 14000 but felt good about it. The mechanic is brilliant and not overwhelming at all.
Enjoyed the game. Took a few tries to get used to it, but the mechanics work perfectly. I like that a visual cue is provided from where the enemy will arrive. Use the numbers mentioned on the enemies and just direct the fire towards that enemy to destroy that. Scored 1000 and reached the boss. Keep up the good work :)
I really enjoyed this! The idea is just brilliant, it's a nice educational game.
I really liked the difficulty scaling, teaching you how it works before introducing stronger enemies where you had to use your head more. The bosses were cool!
The combination of prime factors with this is very interesting, I liked the clean and unique mechanics and it has a nice look and feel, very good job on it!
Interesting concept. But should have a slower difficulty scaling for the math impaired like me 🙃
Nice work, didnt get far, my math skills arent great and I panic button mash when they get too fast. Maybe since using the mouse to control the shooting, right mouse button to change numbers, or the scroll button.
Took me several times to understand that I had to change the number to hit the target ^^ Then I have a big guy with a 30 on it and didn't know what to do :) I think that the mechanic that involves weapons change is cool, reminds me Ikaruga in some way ^^
I like having to switch the bullets to kill the bad guys. Great Job!
