Really nice, I loved the art and music, esp. the twinkling little clusters on the map. Fun! Please rate our game if you would like :)  https://itch.io/jam/gamedevtv-jam-2022/rate/1554224#post-5960926

Developer

Thank you! I already did it ;)

Woah beautiful art and fun concept for a wave based game. Very tough even in the first couple waves. Though my aim isn't what it used to be :P

Developer

Thanks you! I should have decrease a bit the spawn ratio :D

Submitted(+1)

Very nice!

I just felt like the lightining could be clearer regarding the area of effect. Many times I thought I would get all the wraits but some always survived!

Developer

Yes, perhaps the range was a little short. Thanks for your feedback!

Wow what a great game. i had a very good time while playing it.

a little bit hard. Maybe there should be a pause between the wave where the player can rest.

Very good submission!

Developer

Yes, that would be a great idea. Thanks for the feedback!

Submitted(+1)

Great concept! It wasn't that clear to me when the next wave was starting. I thought, man Wave 1 is pretty hard! And it was already Wave 8 haha I guess that's my fault

Developer

Yeah, I wanted to offer a challenging experience but I went a little overboard :D

Controls were smooth, and Lightning and fireball abilities were cool. The game title image looks interesting to go "hey I should click on this."

Also great work on Ichio page looks awesome

Developer

Thanks, that's very kind of you! :)

Beautiful art! Simple gameplay but effective!

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it!

Wow, this game had such a cool use of the theme! I loved it! My main comment would be to make the hitbox of the lightning a bit more forgiving. There were a few times that it looked like I should have hit more wraiths than I actually did. Great job otherwise though!

Developer(+1)

Yes, I should have enlarged a bit the collision circle. Thanks for your feedback!

Submitted(+1)

Really loved the concept! It was super fun to play! Also oh my gosh using the lightning was so satisfying!!

Developer

Thanks a lot! Glad you liked it!

lovely. I enjoyed it all. the gameplay and music and art were all good. got hard quickly.

the game didn't start after the tutorial, and I was looking for a return button on my keyboard. lol, I didn't know I should press enter.

Developer

Yes, my bad. I should have skipped that part once you kill the wraiths :)

Even though you didn't make the art yourself, you went through a lot of sources to find assets that look good and work together, which is impressive. The game has a really nice look to it, (and lovely sounds, too) and I really appreciated the tutorial. It drives me crazy when jam games just throw you in without any hint of how to play except for the description under the game, but your entry had a good amount of polish and a nice introduction for the player. Nice work! I do wish you could hold down LMB instead of clicking it repeatedly to shoot the fireballs, though.

Developer(+1)

Yes, that's right. Other people have also told me. When there is so much stress creating something in such a short time, you often don't see the silliest design flaws in front of you. I'm glad you enjoyed it, thank you for kind words!

realy nice art work. i liked this cute forest. also lightning effects were nice too. good job

Developer

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!

what a nice art work. i loved it but maybe you can reduce left click range. It is a little easy to shoot from distance that they cant shoot

Developer(+1)

Yes, honestly at the beginning there was a shorter firing range, but it gave me some problems with the crosshair and the VFXs impact, so I changed it and in the end I left it like that :D

Dude, awesome job!

Two tiny changes to implement that I think would make a big difference to the player:

1.  Keep shooting when you hold the mouse down (instead of having to click for each shot).

2.  You did a great job on the tutorial, it might be better to make it end automatically, or making it more clear when the user should press to continue to the main game.

Great job!

Developer

Both absolutely right. Thanks for the feedback!

This is adorable. I thought the spawn rate ramped up too quickly but it's really solid and well put together!

Developer

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Pretty fun game! I liked the sprites, the music, ambience, sound effects and vfx you used!

In the tutorial, nothing happened after I used the thunder on the little critters so I pressed ENTER to start the game. I hope I didn't miss anything important.

Would love to see more of the world lore and the character backstories.

Great game!

Developer

You didn't. I should have skipped that scene automatically when you kill the wraiths. Thanks for playing!

Submitted(+1)

Enjoyed every second of it, good job! It was kinda hard to hit the evil wraiths that are attacking the obelisk. The ones that spawn after you kill an enemy. At first, I thought that they were not meant to be attacked, so I ignored them for a good amount of time, only to realize that they were reducing the health of the obelisk. I also accidentally skipped the story by pressing Enter right at the start of the game, because I thought I could advance the story dialogue by pressing enter. I replayed the story after I died, though. Also, the game didn't advance for me once I killed the wraiths in the tutorial.

Developer

Yes, you're right! There were some bad game design decisions on my part. I will take note to improve them in the future. Thanks for the feedback!

Submitted(+1)

Game has a nice feel to it, it can really kick your butt real quick though!

I particularly liked the music and sound effect choices

Developer

Thanks. Yes, I should have decreased the spawn rate/number a bit

Submitted(+1)

Loved it. Quite fun to play. A little light on the story side. (Maybe I didn't play far enough)

Developer

Thanks, I´m glad you like it!
