Very fun game.
Clean sprites with cute animations.
Nice dice mechanic, but I think I have terrible luck to roll 3 skulls two rounds in a row. X_X
A mercy setting would be nice to have, to prevent that from happening. Technically it's cheating, but at least the player won't feel like the game was unfair for not letting them attack two turns in a row. And a happy player is better than a strictly "fair" game. :D

Congrats on completing the jam! I really like the idea but it is a bit RNG heavy. I would love a keyboard control that let me spam roll by mashing spacebar.
Very strong aesthetic and nice idea.
It's very random, but lets you somewhat control the risk - and if you get a lot of attack built up, you get a very satisfying series of smacks!
Though it felt like TOO much RNG. There is always a possibility that when you roll, you're immediately toast. Unless you use black dice. So the best (and, seemingly, only) strat was to only use white dice (so you can beat the enemy in ONE (or one and another) turn with the x2 attack) with black dice (so the high skull chance is counteracted by an existing maximum skull-per-turn count)
The active abilities were pretty useful and gave much more control over the situation! And the marrying mechanic was well tuned so it did not feel like just a plain ol' character selection.
Thanks for the feedback, and I 100% agree, right now the RNG is a bit out of hand. And funny enough, gambling on a white die was how I also beat the game while testing haha. If you have any ideas on how to fight the RNG I am all ears as I plan to expand the game!

The worst feeling is when you get three skulls while the foureyed demon has his ten-sword attack ready. Best feeling is when you get enough attack+boost and you oneshot that snarky puppet! >:)
A lot of fun. Definitely could see me playing this once in a while :)
I really liked the game, reminded me Slay the spire but with dice. Dice-building game is really interesting concept. I hope you will carry on with this game, it deserves to be worked on.

It took me two rounds to really get into the game, and then it got really fun. Round after round I just enjoyed the game! Really great work!
A very cute game! I love the dice and especially the puppets' visual design. The puppets getting squished when attacked was a nice touch. The game is simple but fun, suitable for a jam game.
Would be interesting if more mechanics are added to deepen the strategic depth. Choosing dice is a very nice idea, and I'm sure there are ways to expand further! Good job!
Wow, I love this game from top to bottom. The aesthetics were super charming, the sound design feels great, the game is essentially random but never feels unfair thanks to smart mechanics like the discard, the fact you can choose new dice and have different playstyles each run was very refreshing. Overall top tier entry, would 100% buy an expanded version!
