This game impressed me sooo much for the level of polish and the quality of the level design, for a 10 days work! So, that the gameplay, which is not trivial at all, looked like an easy task :D

Nice job really! Fantastic game

Nice and really polished game with awesome puzzles! The only negative I can say is sometimes you have to die too many times (actually that's maybe my own fault :D), but at least you can try again as much as you want. Impressive game, congratulations! :)

Developer(+2)

Thanks :)
I was really fond the the keep trying mechanic that came out of this game. The fact that you can use even a bad run to help your next, appealed to me.
And hey, it's more Zomployees helping each other out! :D

This game is super fun.  The graphics, music, sfx and font all work together well.  The level designs are also very good. The random levels option at the end is also appreciated. 😁

Just for feedback: I tried using a gamepad as well, but the zombies can't jump. There were some instances when they won't move so I would go back to the keyboard. Then after a bit, they would respond well to either keyboard or gamepad. But I still couldn't get them to jump with the gamepad.  Maybe this is related to the known issue you mentioned about the jump button not responding? Hope this helps!

Excellent work!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it :).
I'm using the new unity input system for the controls, and i didnt have gamepad in mind when setting them up. But I will look into it, and expand and improve the controls set up to allow for it.
Thanks a lot for the feedback, it's much apreciated!

Gold. 72 zombalities after 10. That is probably terrible but congrats on a great game. Mechanics work great and there seems to be more than one way to end a level.

Developer

72 Fantastic Zomployee's working togther! Teamwork!! :D
Tanks for playing!

very clever descision to use a cubic zombie! makes a lot of sense with the gameplay machanic.

also: great choice of music (some similarities to my game here;-)

Developer

Thanks :), really apreciate it! :)

Great game! I love the concept. The graphics, music, and UI were really pleasing, and the platforming and dead body mechanics were simple, yet effective. I also really liked the level design, and the way certain lights powered things was pretty cool! I did however yearn for some variety in the levels. I also personally found the levels quite easy, although both of those issues could easily be fixed if you had more time. Given the fact that we only had 10 days, the amount of content, and the level of polish on said content is quite incredible! Good job! :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks :).
Absoulty have room to increase difficulty from here. Needs some mroe mechanics to. Good thing i've had some other platformers to get ideas from these last few days :).
Thanks for playing, the feedback, and for making your game to :P.

Fun! Really liked the overall presentation with the sound, music, UI, everything really. Was impressed also with the number of zombie fatalities which can populate the level. (I went a bit crazy with them on the later levels!) Solid level design, and great job overall!

Developer

Thanks a lot!
More Zombies the better! Dead or ... undead :).
Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed!

Interesting game! I like how the limited resources adds a layer of strategy to it.

Developer (1 edit)

The Zomployees are given State of the Art Uranium Rods! What more resource could they need! :D
That and Teamwork!
Thanks for playing! :)

This game is fantastic, well done.  A really well thought out 2d puzzle / platformer, absolutley nailed all aspects for me! Fantastic effort!

Developer

Awesome, thanks a lot :). Really great to hear! Thanks for playing, and for the feedback! :)

Just played it now. This is really awesome. So well laid out and the mechanics are perfect. Not sure the all assets are sourced even so, it looks really good. Well done.

Developer

Thanks :). Glad you enjoyed it!

It's a good idéa and the execution is solid. It's a well rounded package and this could definetly be a proper product with enough work. Well done!

Developer

Aweome to hear, thanks a lot for playing, and for the feedback! :)

Lmao the music choice made me chuckle XD

Bit of Elevator music :P. I was after something that might be put on in an workplace to drive the employees a bit crazy :P, this is what I found :D.
Thanks for playing! glad you enjoyed it :), and thanks for the feedback

Great puzzler. Tutorial set it up nicely, and I liked the wry HR department corporate-speak humour.

Level design and difficulty was set just right. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Glad you liked the tutorial and got the vibe I was going for from the welcome letter (and tutorial text).
Glad you liked it, thanks for the feedback! I apreciate it!

I think the choice to make the main characters "zombie blocks" was very smart. That way you can design a lot of interesting puzzles and this game was full of them. Great job!

Developer

Thanks a lot :). Such a fun character :), and yeah, added for stable blocks to build from.
Thanks for playing and the feedback! Much apreciated :D!

Very nice game! Sadly I saw quite a few games with that mechanic... So I couldn't give you bonus points there...

But overall a very nice game!

Developer(+1)

with 950 games, bound to be some cross over :). I hope mine had a bit of a different look and feel at least :D.
Thanks for playing, and for the feedback. If I want to make this game stand out, I need to do something a little different with it moving forwards.
Much appreciated.

Thanks!

wow that rating process was easy 5s all the way down. elevator music and tone of art etc. was perfect for the game theme and matched the jam theme as well. I'm very impressed you had such good flash style art, SMB esque hazards, nice touches like zombie sound effects and particle effects on death and acid, good level progression and built-in tutorial style gameplay, appropriately tight platformer controls (that would maybe be my main thing to tune out of this whole thing but what you had worked just fine) and a mechanic that provided a lot of fun, experimental emergent things to do to get through levels. Awesome game, well done!

Developer(+1)

Yey :)! Thanks for that feedback! really appreciate it!
So glad you enjoyed! Thanks!! :D

This is really good, and very well packaged. I think the difficulty ramped really nicely, and everything just worked really well. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! that's great to here! I put a lot of effort into balancing the levels just right to keep adding something new each time, but not get to hard to fast.
Great to here that came out well. Thanks! :)
I apreciate the feedback!

Very nice presentation of this concept, I like the cynical yet light-heartedness of the theme and thought it was well executed :) Since you asked for feedback, I'd like to suggest putting a cooldown on the kill key, and preventing the player from being able to use it once they've completed the level :)

Developer

Thanks forplaying! Hope you enjoyed it :).
Thanks for the feedback. Will need to balance a few things out in future updates, and will bear that in mind :).

Thanks!
