What a thrill...

Huge Metal Gear fan, so I had to play this one. Great sense of humor throughout! Felt good to use verticality to my stealthy advantage. I don't know how you had the restraint not to put the player into one of those indestructible cardboard boxes at some point, I felt sure that was coming.

There will be some updates to make the game a bit more fleshed out and complete-feeling. I love your idea here and most likely will use it ;)

Operative Coyote this is Overlord. Satellite images shows you can reach the entrace by jumping from the blue barrels onto the ventilation device sticking out from the outside wall. It's just in front of you. How copy, over?

This was fun. Graphics are good and animations are solid. Crouch animation is lol. Pretty intuitive. I had some trouble with the platforming aspect (just kinda hard) but that’s maybe the point.

Hey! Nice game overall!

I like how you implemented platforming in the game. The game looks clean and well polished. One thing i will note is that when using premade assets in a game jam at least credit the guys who made them. It is kind of obvious which exact asset this is so it feels bad not to mention that :)

All in all a solid entry that more people need to play! Good job!

The game's really well made, and it's impressive that you pulled this off for a jam game, it looks very good and polished, and it also feels great to play! Very good job! 😁

The only negative points that I could find are that you have to go through every dialog when you get caught, and that there's no shadow underneath the player to know where I'm going to land.

It would be nice to have the option to skip the dialogs, at least after you first read them.

And since the sense of perception is not very good in these kind of games, you should really consider adding a shadow underneath the player like Mario 64 does. This way, players can calculate jumps better!

The crouching animation was hilarious. I would have loved some control over the camera as now I could not see what my character should be able to see when moving south.

Good start for a stealth game. Nice atmosphere and music.

Would be cool dialogs were skiped second time I go. or if I could fully skip them with one button.

Maybe you could add longer stages with checkpoints in them.

Having some issues with audio - we ran into those too! not sure if you are using FMOD but something that helped me was increasing buffer dsp length and taking all assets off stream mode. either way looks like a blast, hope to play it soon!

Yes it is indeed FMOD. I already took it all off stream, but I haven't touched the buffer DSP length.  I'll definitely try tweaking it for a future version. Thanks for the tip! Looking forward to playing your game too :)

For sure! For me the sweet spot was 2048 but may be different in your game
