Notes (optional)
This was the first time I tried to do all the art for my game myself using krita.
It was also the first time my son and I took a shot at doing voice over work we had a blast!

Nice game, nice and fun! You have done a very good job!
I was a bit surprised that when you "evolve" it looped back to the first level, I don't know if it was on purpose or not, and if so, what is the pro to use the small bubbles instead of the very big one.
Also, it would have been nice to have some kind of feedback when you evolve, like a little animation or effect.
But anyway, it was awesome!
I was running out of time so I just used the main menu scene for the end game scene, the last button should be restart game. That is a great idea about giving more feed back for the evolution the only thing that happens at the moment is that the player animation is different and takes on some of the features of the enemy that was just defeated. Maybe I would add a sound or something more obvious. For the bubbles it is kind of a stretch but , the player bullets can knock the enemy bullets away , reducing your chance of getting hit . So the big bubble is able to clear away more bullets and goes through the walls , and the triple bullet is better for the bosses since it is effectively 3 hits in 1 shot. Thanks for playing and your feed back.
That was quite a fun game, though I wish the tutorial was more fleshed-out.
My time was 0:45 and I took 13 hits
Thanks for playing, nice score. yeah the tutorial needs a little more explanation on what you need to do I agree. thanks for your feed back.
You did a great job! It was really fun, the art was great, and it was also really cool that you used background noises.
My time left was 1:10 and I took 6 hits.
thanks for playing that was a really good run ! thanks for your encouraging words. Did you manage to find the shortcut ?
I really liked that u used krita too! i got scared a lil bit from the audio, but its a really nice game!
I have read on comments below that you made this with Krita that is nice!!, I use that too! , you really got nice skills at paining and creating, I enjoyed the game, but didn't found the secret :( took me long to defeat the boss. anyway this game feel real good, congrats!
thanks for playing , yeah krita is Awesome ! and thanks for the encouragement concerning my art , I just got started seriously about a month now, and I really like it . Just a little tip of you decide to have another go try not to get hit , the boss hit points are based on how many times you get hit.
Very fun little game. I never felt so rewarded after I found the shortcut.
thanks for playing, and taking the time to leave a comment :)
I like it! I played a few times to get the shortcut as quick as I could, and I got to the boss room with about 2:50 left
thanks for playing, I am really happy you liked it, that was an amazing run .
Very fun game! I loved that the its dubbed, and also the progression system worked really well!
Really liked the artstyle and the little upgrades
I loved the voice over work in this game! Very unique, it made it kind of feel like a nature documentary.
The movement controls were a little hard to get used to at first. I kept expecting "up" to move forward, but I got used to it after about a minute.
I really enjoyed the level design and pace of this game, it was a perfect game jam length and left me feeling satisfied.
thanks for your feedback , I did not want to make it to long , and I had set a time to complete in my mind at around 3 to 5 minutes, so I let some friends play test with no sound or prompts and they managed to finish it in about 6 - 7 minutes. then I took their feed back into consideration. and changed the level accordingly. The movement is like that because there is controller support in the game but I was a little rushed at the end and totally forgot to mention it in the game . lol as for the voice over I have been trying to get my son into game dev for a while now and was so happy when he said that he would do this, he will be thrilled to read this ! thanks again for playing .
That's lot of fish!
What a great lovely entry! loved the fish animations and overall art. it was great to see increasing abilities over time. Loved the voice narration, this was really fun to beat (I ended up having 2 secs left!)
thanks for playing I am so happy you enjoyed playing . 2 secs huh? what a run! the secret will allow you to beat the game with almost all time left on the clock. hee hee. I tried art before with awesome programs like Photoshop but never really enjoyed it as I do using krita. Even with all its limitations it just clicks more with me. Your encouragement is inspiring me to get a drawing tablet for my computer.
